I love this career. I’m just learning that loving it doesn’t mean every day feels easy. 🤍 #physicianassistant #physicianassociate #paschool #pastudent #healthcare by @anna.thepac

Please ask me anything!! I genuinely LOVE talking and I’m pretty much an open book.

Want to know about PA school, life as a PA, working in orthopedics, navigating being a new grad, or just have random questions? I’m here for it!

And if you want to talk about my dog, even better. I could talk about him for approximately 7 business days. 😂

I want this page to be a place where we can actually connect, so never hesitate to send me a message, leave a question, or just say hi!

I love having you guys here!!

A little break in your regular feed for the one and only Feef 🦴🐾

Murphy is OBSESSED with his Lamb Chop toys, so naturally we had to share a little unboxing with our friends on the internet. Still can’t believe my puppy is almost ONE! 🥹

Our Member Spotlight series continues with Anna Strait, MSPAS, PA-C! 👋

Anna practices orthopaedic surgery in Washington, DC, with a subspecialty in joint replacement. Her days mix clinic, in-office procedures, and OR time. Her favorite part is seeing patients go from severe pain and difficulty walking back to the activities they love. She’s nearly a year into orthopaedics and joined PAOS in April 2026.

Swipe through to hear how a PA friend helped her land her first job, what she wishes more people understood about orthopaedic PAs, and her advice for anyone facing the specialty’s steep learning curve. (Spoiler: give yourself grace.)

New to orthopaedics too? You’re in good company here.

And give Anna a follow at @anna.thepac

Nobody tells you quite what it’s like to be a new grad PA.

Some days you feel confident, and other days you wonder if you know anything at all. You’re learning as you go, figuring out your place, and realizing there’s still so much to learn.

I’m learning that it’s okay to not have everything figured out yet. Give yourself grace, celebrate the little wins, and remember how hard you worked to get here.

Perfect for busy clinic and OR days 🤍

As a minimal makeup girl, these 4–5 products are my everyday essentials! I rotate between these two mascaras, mostly because I’m constantly losing one and having to use the other 😂
