photo spot in Paris worth saving 📍 Place Vendôme, Paris

It looks effortlessly beautiful in photos, but shooting here can actually be tricky. Around midday the light is harsh, the square is busy and there are cars almost everywhere.

My tip: skip the middle of the square and look for the passages and gated entrances between the boutiques. They give you softer light, a cleaner frame and that elegant Parisian architecture in the background.

Place Vendôme is one of Paris’ most iconic luxury addresses, known for the Ritz Paris and its historic architecture, surrounded by maisons including Cartier, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Boucheron, Chaumet, Van Cleef & Arpels, Dior Joaillerie and Bulgari.

I escaped Hamburg for inspiration and spent a weekend living my Milan fantasy 🤌

things to do in Milan if you want your own little Italian movie weekend:

1. admire the soft golden light around Duomo and stop for a moment

2. wander with no plan and grab a coffee somewhere outside

3. bring home a tiny memory from your trip
I loved this colorful Italian shop full of bouquets vases and plates

4. explore the city on foot
Milan is better when you walk slowly

5. have an Aperol aperitivo with snacks where locals actually sit after work

6. eat fresh pasta for lunch 🍝

7. sit on museum steps and do absolutely nothing

8. wear more jewelry and dress like your Italian side suddenly appeared 💃

9. walk through the gardens of Villa Necchi Campiglio
this beautiful place is only 5 minutes from Duomo

this weekend i escaped Hamburg and laptop life for my temporary Italian dolce vita fantasy 🤌
