What a brilliant photo from @jethro_kiernan of me high up on Psychodelicate, 7c, when I'd "just gone up to warm up and put the draws in" then found myself near the top and questioning my life choices 🤣 a midgey flew into my eye and I had no idea which way to go at the top crux which made for a really chilled climb 😦😆
I love how this photo not only captures the excellent route, but also shows a bit more of the quarries which are genuinely one of my favourite places in the UK 🤩 Can't wait to find a new mini project!

Topping out on the South face of the Aiguille du Midi with my favourite person. Thank you to the kind woman who found us and sent us this picture. What a memory to keep!

First quarter of 2026 completed.
Mostly spent doing up our old Welsh house, spending quality time with friends and family, a few cool solos in the mountains, some absolutely top-tier parties and some great food & wine.
Spring, pease continue accordingly (but with better weather....) by @anna__healy

2025 😶

Had a feeling this year was going to be exceptional, and it did not disappoint. A few injuries and other problems along the way meant I didn't get as much done climbing as I would have liked, but some stunning days soloing in the hills with Alex more than made up for this. I also managed to have one lead go on my project before I injured my toe, which I thought I would never have the bottle to do, so I have to be pleased with that!

Climbing aside, my 2025 highlights include:

Getting my first tattoo 😂
First ever bouldering trip to Albarracín
Going to Asia for the first time
Getting engaged to my favourite person
Buying a house in Wales
Becoming an aunty
Enjoying a total of 5 Michelin stars (Sosban, Lenclume, Gia)
Seeing some amazing gigs (Frank Turner, Massive Attack, Kevin Devine, Undercover Hippy, Peatbog Faeries)
Making over 30000 cakes 😂

Overall I'm not really sure how to top this year but we can definitely try! by @anna__healy

Last minute short and sweaty trip to Albarracín with @smurth.alex
It may have been too hot to climb anything hard but the wine and waterfalls were excellent.. 🤩 by @anna__healy

Well, if that's the end of summer, at least it was an absolutely amazing one! 🦄💜🌞🎂🧗‍♀️ by @anna__healy

End of 2024.. probably the most turbulent year of my life. Here are a few highlights from between the storms. Thanks to everyone who kept me going.
Bring on 2025 💜🦄 by @anna__healy

Awesome days on Rainbow slab. The amazing E7 7a Cure for a sick mind getting 2 rare repeats from @morris.edmund and @davewarburton2 .

I was gutted (or maybe relieved?!?!) not to be able to go for the lead myself after feeling just about ready enough but a deep split tip stopped play. I managed to finally get round to doing Poetry Pink though, which was a not-so-disapointing consolation prize!

Edmund's lead was so smooth and deliberate and I was super impressed by Dave getting back on it after taking one of the biggest whips I've ever seen while pulling slack through to clip the last draw on first RP.
Sooo megaaaaa 🌈🌈

🌳🌞💚🐣🪷Beltane 🍀🐇🌱🌼🪲

Felt like a fitting day to throw back to this route.
One of my top 5 routes that I climbed last year. It's said to be at least a grade harder if you're short but I think being short not only makes it harder but way better and more fun too. Some of the best and most interesting moves would be lost if I was taller than 5"4 and I really really enjoyed unpicking the puzzle of this route when I couldn't just reach the crimps above. Being short isn't always bad!

Happy Beltane everyone 🫎

Why has this photo not had a square on my insta already??! I honestly have no idea but here is another absolutely perfect photo from @jethro_kiernan of me on my favourite slate 8a at sunset 🌄
@tompearce63 and I had been taking turns on the lead and Jethro's picture of Tom has just won 1st overall in the UKC North Face & Ellis Brigham photography awards 2023.
That slab is just amazing.

It's been raining for about 6 months in North Wales so here's one last video I found from October just before I successfully climbed The Medium 🤣
I've got my eye on a few slate routes for this year, got maybe two of them just about worked out moves-wise and several others on my list to go and look at. Everything feels really hard currently after basically a whole winter off slabs and battling with various illnesses... I think your feet get used to the pain of the tiny edges after a whole season of slate, but I was definitely feeling it after just one session on one of my projects last week 🤕 I also dry fired off a tiny crimp and split a tip which was a really classic reintroduction 😵
