Cross Country Adventure on Horseback I had such an amazing time this past month with Marsha as we traveled all across the US rode miles of trails on our horses. We drove through 16 states: Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. We rode in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. Over all this trip was so much fun and an amazing way to celebrate graduating and starting a new adventure in my life. It’s been a whirlwind of a summer as I was gone most of June for a trip abroad and then left for this trip. by @anna_beth_07

I can’t believe Ace turned 16 today! He has been a blessing in my life, and I can’t wait for the adventures we will go on in the future. I may have only had him for just over a year, but he has exceeded all of my expectations for a horse new to NATRC. Only one year of competitions and he has gone to 9 rides, completed 7 rides, ridden 650+ miles, and won a Nation Championship. I am so blessed to have this horse and can’t wait for even more adventures. by @anna_beth_07

I’m so excited with how this weekend went! Joe turned 20 and successfully managed to make it through the ride without a problem!! It was so much fun fun to compete him again! I didn’t want to push him so a friend lent me her horse to ride on the second day and I cannot be more grateful!! by @anna_beth_07

A bit late but this is the last NATRC ride I did for the year! So proud of what all Ace has accomplished in just the one year that I’ve had him!! With this last ride he started 10 competitions in less than one calendar year !!! I have learned that he does not do well with hot rides but loves to run up every hill… He did a great job at this last ride but did unfortunately cut himself pretty nice on the last day, so he’s gotten his hoof wrapped for the past week😅 (He has healed now to where I don’t have to keep it wrapped though) The video does NO justice on how steep the hill was and I was very impressed that he was willing to run up the whole thing without stopping!! by @anna_beth_07

I had a blast getting to go to Ride the Edge this year! Even with the 3 hour delay due to lightning storms on Saturday, I still had a blast riding in the rain! Unfortunately I didn’t get to finish the weekend due to Ace hurting his leg. I assumed he had dome something pretty bad, but it turns out that he is just a certified drama queen. This ride is still has some of the most beautiful trails and scenery that I’ve seen!! by @anna_beth_07

Back at Iron Mountain Horse Camp for a NATRC ride!! Such beautiful trails with rather challenging terrain to maneuver. I had such a fun time and look forward to more adventures!! by @anna_beth_07

I had heard many stories of how beautiful Kanopolis was but photos do no justice to just how gorgeous it is out there!! Even though it was a nice hot weekend, Ace was an amazing lil pony and climbed up and down the rocks, hills, and plains. I am so grateful to be able to have come out here for the weekend!!! by @anna_beth_07

Oh the mud and rain and then more mud. It was a fun, wet, and chilly weekend up in Kentucky. I had lots of fun getting to see everyone and finally being able to ride the beautiful albeit very muddy trails. Ace learned how to jump creeks and how to slide through mud. It was such an adventure filled ride!! by @anna_beth_07

There were a lot of adventures in Kansas this week. From my horse crushing my phone to finding a tack shop that ended up being the main building for one of NATRC sponsors. We now have three rides down for this ride year! I can’t wait to see what other adventures I’ll go on!! by @anna_beth_07
