⚜️A book full of sincere emotions and love. Namely, Collins and her husband had a perfect marital idyll, everything was as it should be, until he dies and she remains devastated.After 18 months, his best friend Ansel can no longer watch it and offers her his hand as a friend to help her to come back to life. I really liked that their friendship was pure. Ansel is very patient and supports her, while Collins is a strong woman who, after the tragedies that life throws at her, still knows what she wants. A book that will make you laugh, cry and not stop reading.

⚜️I love it when a book awakens emotions in me, because I think that is the secret of a good book and I wholeheartedly recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

⚜️I have read all the books of the queen of slow burn, @marianazapata. I have several favorites that have become close to my heart and I have even re-read them several times. I wrote about these books in earlier posts. Her new book is coming out in a few days and I’m really looking forward to it. 💙

Our first buddy read, but definitely NOT our last! Reading Bourbon & Secrets together gave us SO much to talk about. The suspense, the twists, the theories… and oh yes, THE ROMANCE! 👀

⚜️I’m a fan of Colleen Hoover’s books. The movie adaptations aren’t bad at all.I actually liked them. I didn’t have sky-high expectations going into the Verity movie.

⚜️I knew that, as with any book-to-film adaptation, a lot of details would be changed, and that’s fine. I thought the movie was solid, even if I hadn’t read the book, I still would have enjoyed it. Yes, there were significant changes, but nothing terrible. The casting was spot on, and Anne Hathaway’s performance speaks for itself,she was flawless.

⚜️All in all, you can watch the movie whether you’ve read the book or not. If you don’t like it, at least you can say you watched it Plus, my girlfriends and I had a great night out enjoying ourselves, gossiping, and laughing.

I remember how many emotions the book Verity stirred up in me.Anger, rage, tears, and a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. Especially the confusion at the end of the book that no one was indifferent to... I’m looking forward to tonight because the movie is officially premiering in theaters, and I’m going to see it with my girlfriends. I know books are always better than movies, but I’m really curious to see how they adapted it for the screen.

⚜️ARC Review

⚜️The second book in the Heirmarked series was long awaited and this is my honest ARC review. Folks, this book held my attention from start to finish.The characters, the plot, and the mystery of what would happen next. We are introduced to Kane and Thea in the first book, Faithless Heir. Kane is dangerous and cold, while Thea is quiet and smart. When two people like that come together, things take a dramatic turn. Both of them went through hard times at a very young age, and both are fighting their demons in different ways. What they didn’t count on is love.

⚜️Thea is investigating aspects of her past that are somehow linked to Kane. That’s when he latches onto her and won’t let go. I really love Mia’s writing style,every detail is described, and every question is answered. The emotions in the book are palpable, and it is so addictive that you can easily read it without stopping.

⚜️I really liked the book,it connects to the first one, and you get the chance to catch a glimpse of Eva and Mason’s relationship as well. I definitely have absolutely no complaints. I won’t give away too many spoilers, as it’s important to let your imagination run wild. Tomorrow is the day the book officially comes out, and I recommend it wholeheartedly. 💚♟️

⚜️I had Victoria Wilder’s books on my TBR list for a while, then decided to start with the first one in The Foxx Bourbon Boys series, Bourbon & Lies, and it really made an impression on me. I soon started the second book, Bourbon & Secrets , buddy reading with @kellys_kindle_recs and I believe she shares the same opinion that the book is addictive as it definitely compels you to keep reading non-stop. The story and characters are great, and it is beautifully written. I can’t wait to read on and see how the story unfolds.
