2023 my dog Mia had a small lump in her front left leg. It was determined stage one soft tissue coma, and it was removed. Her vet said it should not come back but you never know with cancer. Fast-forward to 2024 it came back on the same area, but this time there were two lumps. The options were amputation and radiation therapy so long as it was grade one. Her surgery was four weeks ago with the plan of removing the masses if possible, and if not then to amputate. They were fortunate enough to just remove the masses which I felt was a miracle in itself to keep her leg. it was determined that it went from a grade one to a grade three soft tissue sarcoma. Options were radiation therapy and chemotherapy. We did start radiation therapy last week where they did a full body CT scan. Lungs had white dots, but it was confirmed nothing to worry about as per the last CT scan from her first surgery. There was something enlarged by her shoulder on the side where she had her surgery. Thankfully, it was determined that was just inflammation. With all that being said, it was decided to stop radiation therapy and just amputate the leg. I had to ask myself was radiation therapy more for her to keep the leg or for us to not have to amputate, but I had to think more thoroughly about what was best for her. The fact that there was no indication of the cancer spreading or any growths to this day just gave me the courage to decide amputation. I pray to the higher power that we will get through this and so will she. Her home Vet felt it was the best option after telling her. Even speaking with oncologist, she asked me again and I explained to her pretty much what my deciding factor was, and that was the full body CT scan. Although it does not show microscopically if the cancer spread I have to believe that it hasn’t for the simple fact it’s solely Been on her left leg. There’s God and there’s science. prayers, good energy, and references are appreciated. If you know anyone that has a tripod pet due to cancer, please send them my number email IG name. Anything will help besides chemo: supplements, diet, even holistic remedies. #softtissuesarcoma #grade3cancer #dogcancersucks by @anna_breeezy

Super Pet Expo 2023! So many things to buy but worth it. Every vendor had a percentage of their sales go to a cause: retired dogs that served in the military or police, dogs/cats that came from disaster areas (puerto rico), disabled dogs, surgeries for limbs, awareness of rare breeds (toyger), so many adoption agencies, list goes on! It was overwhelming for me and 5x as overwhelming for my little ones so i can imagine 10x overwhelming for the pups/cats being shown for adoption. The most beautiful part is all owners were respectful towards one another with their pets- asking for name, age, breed, if they can pet, anything about your pet! Always a positive and loving environment being here. Can’t wait for the next one! #superpetexpo #pawpower #barkinbakinbakery #toyger #bengal #shophazelly #waggin #alldogsmatter🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 by @anna_breeezy
