Imagine having to relearn how to walk especially with a life built around sport. Breaking down how to step and pushing through pain is a hard thing to tell your brain to do. 6 months on from knee injury and I am just getting back to walking, I’m wonky and got barely any leg control but we move. I have cried, questioned identity, felt lost and numb. I thought my journey earned a post because I’m proud - it’s easy to post when your achieving goals or feeling good about yourself, but turning up when you are having the worst time of your life, that’s a test. I’ve learnt how resilient I really am and what an up and down emotional ride recovery is. I’m grateful it wasn’t worse, grateful for baring weight again, grateful for no crutches more of this please 🙌🏼 … This 6 months set back hasn’t dampened my spirit though and I just know when I do how good it will feel when I’m back to doing what I love 🏃🏻‍♀️🏋️‍♀️

One thing I’ve learned is be kind because you never know what someone is going through - consistently surprised by the kindness of strangers 🤍 xxx

This little boy was my whole world. We are not ready to do life without you 💔 We were just getting our lives back to normal and so suddenly you are gone. You are the most amazing beautiful boy and we will love you forever ❤️ I don’t know what we will do now - the next chapter we had written with campervan holidays which won’t be the same without you. You will always be in our hearts forever the perfect angel you are xxxxx just popping it on here in case you notice us just as a 2 instead of a family of 3 xxx by @anna_caygill
