TIME OUT
Sometimes, the most important thing you can do is simply take a time out.

Pause. Breathe. Rest. Recharge.

Self-care.... Give yourself the space to come back to yourself, listen, slow down, refill your cup. Hope you are all well.

“The healer you have been looking for is the courage to know and love yourself completely.” — Yung Pueblo

Take the time you need. 🤍 Anna

After a year of being quiet here, I feel like it’s finally time to say hello again. 🤍

The past three years have taken me on a very different, but deeply meaningful musical journey. Alongside everything else, I studied Music Therapy and have just completed my Bachelor’s degree. 🎓✨

I haven’t played many gigs during this time — not because I stopped making music, but because I found myself singing in hospitals for patients instead. And somehow, that felt just as important, maybe even more so.

Music has always been about connection for me. Whether it’s in a concert room or a hospital room, it has the power to create a little moment of comfort, hope, trust and joy 🤍

And now, a new chapter begins: in just two weeks, I’ll be starting my Master’s degree in Music Therapy. I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead. THE BEST IS YET TO COME.

To everyone who has supported me, encouraged or believed in me, or simply stayed around while I was quiet — thank you. Truly. 🫶🏽

And what better way to come back than with a little live music?

✨ September 1st | 8:15 PM
📍 Frau Mayer
🎶 I’ll be playing a small acoustic set.

I’d love to see some familiar faces — and maybe some new ones, too. 🤍

Here’s to new chapters, new songs, and finding our way back to the music. 🎶

Meer

Wenn man ans Meer kommt
soll man zu schweigen beginnen
bei den letzten Grashalmen
soll man den Faden verlieren

und den Salzschaum
und das scharfe Zischen des Windes einatmen
und ausatmen
und wieder einatmen

Wenn man den Sand sägen hört
und das Schlurfen der kleinen Steine
in langen Wellen
soll man aufhören zu sollen
und nichts mehr wollen wollen nur Meer

Nur Meer

Thanks to the encouragement of you @billlaurance I will record one by one or find a label to support me and release them all. I learned so much from and with all of you last week. Especially that I should share my music more instead of just writing😂.

THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND. I am and will be forever grateful for the time we shared at AKH Wien, intensiv care unit. Oskar Hinterreither you truly are a blessing and a gift to this world. Thank you for the friendship we have, the laughs and cries, the honesty, care and love. I am so glad to have you as a friend in my life.
And for the people who keep on asking: "Anna where and when do you play live?" The answer is: at the moment I am busy working full - time and studying music therapy. That is also why I rarely post anything. 😉 Still writing songs, yes! They keep on piling up on my piano. At the moment I sing and play for patients and I am loving it. 💫🙌🏽 Anna

ENJOY - Soundcheck 😊
It''s about time, that I post a short video of a soundcheck with those 2 lovely friends for life, songswriters and singers Monika Hofmarcher and Carola Caye.
We have lived, laughed, traveled, studied, explored, cried and mostly sung together for many years. I feel really blessed to have you both in my life and I cherish our friendship, love, trust and connection more than you will ever know.
Thank you for your companionship, the music and love we share, being one in the sound and in our hearts. Nothing compares to singing with you. I love you 2. ❤❤❤
We will play live on 1st of december @fraumayerwien - come and enjoy singing with us. Love, Anna

I haven't posted anything in quite some time - it's been a while. And now I am back with GOOD NEWS about a new collaboration - it all started in March 2023 @cyclingworld_europe when I played some of my tunes on a velostage in Düsseldorf.

@kamileinszweidrei and his teammates from @teamrynkebyrheinruhr happened to hear and like my music, I found out about their volunteer project and just LOVE THESE PEOPLE and am deeply moved by their service to humanity. I am truly inspired by their dedication to support long-term hospitalised children and children suffering from cancer. Kamil asked me if I could write a song for them - so I said:"YES!" to support their mission and to spread the word about their project. The song for Team Rynkeby is called "Shine" and will be released when the teams from 9 nations leave their locations to all reach the same destination: Paris!

Team Rynkeby Reinruhr is part of one of the world's largest bicycle charity campaigns, which supports the German Children's Cancer Foundation by acquiring sponsors and donors. 100% of these funds benefit this organization. In recent years, the Rynkeby team has been able to acquire over 94 million euros. This money supports childhood cancer research and allows numerous children to be successfully treated using the latest scientific findings.

The team was founded around 20 years ago by employees of Rynkeby Fund in Denmark. A total of 62 teams from 9 nations are currently racing, these are around 2000 racing cyclists who are supported by 500 service team members. Anyone who wants to get involved in charity and enjoys racing cycling can take part, regardless of whether they are a beginner or a semi-professional. Their motto: We leave together and arrive together.

The highlight of their campaign to draw attention to their cause is the annual tour to Paris in July. Also this year - within a week, all teams will cycle from their locations to the French capital at the same time.

You are just lovely @teamrynkeby @teamrynkebyhamburg @teamrynkebyjonkoping @teamrynkebyberlin @tr_helsinki @teamrynkebyvestsjaelland @teamrynkeby_niederolm @teamrynkebygermany @teamrynkeby_oslo @teamrynkebyisland
