✨Technique Tuesday✨

Today’s focus is our Landmine bent over Rows.

1️⃣Hinging at the hips, shoulders backing down and holding that barbell in one hand.

2️⃣Rowing that barbell towards your ribcage.

3️⃣Squeezing your shoulder blades together, tucking your elbows in and then returning that barbell towards the ground.

STOP GUESSING & START RECORDING 💙

If you want to get the most out of your training, start recording yourself in the gym

Here’s what to look for when reviewing your videos:

1️⃣ Technique: Is your form consistent and controlled?

2️⃣ Tempo:Are you controlling the lowering phase or rushing through your reps?

3️⃣ Intensity: Are you pushing close enough to failure or stopping when it starts to get uncomfortable?

4️⃣ Range of motion: Are you using a consistent range of motion with every rep?

5️⃣ Compensations: Are you using momentum or changing your positioning to get the weight up as the set gets harder?

If your anxious / embarrassed about recording start with one or two movements per session and look for ONE thing you can improve

If anyone says anything, kindly say your working on this one with your coach 💁🏼‍♀️

5 things I wish I knew when I started running 🏃‍♀️💙

It’s so easy to get caught up in pace and distance but here’s a reminder if your just starting out:

You don’t need to be fast, you don’t need to run 5km straight away and you definitely don’t need to have it all figured out from day one

Be patient with yourself and celebrate the little wins 🫶🏼💫

Ten reminders 🦋

#quotes #motivation #fitness #coach by @anna_leefitness

Modify it. Master it. Progress it 💪

Every exercise can be adapted to your ability, every movement is an opportunity to learn and every workout is a chance to get a little stronger. 🔥

Because fitness should be for EVERYBODY!! 🫶

5KG DOWN IN 16 WEEKS AND SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A NUMBER ON THE SCALES 🥹💙

I am so proud of Anne and everything she has achieved! Her hard work and commitment to the process paid off 🫶🏼

Anne is a busy nurse working night shifts, but she’s continued to show up for herself and build healthier habits without putting her social life on hold 👏🏼

🏋🏼‍♀️ Getting stronger and progressing in the gym
🤍 Building sustainable habits around shift work
🥂 Still enjoying dinners out and social events
💪🏼 Learning that consistency beats perfection every single time

This is what sustainable progress looks like 🥹
You don’t need another restrictive diet or to keep starting over every Monday. You need the right structure and support that fits your life 💙
