It feels like a lifetime ago I was actually on set filming JEWFACE.

3 intense days of production.

This after spending months preparing for an intense and ultimately successful crowdfunding campaign.

Multiple locations.

Dozens of actors.

Hard-working crew.

Setbacks.

These are to be expected, but this time - it felt different. Harder. Unnecessary. Frustrating.

Chin up keep going. Keep going. Keep going.

A pick up day.

Keep going. Keep going.

Post production.

Gratitude for these artists.

Relieved to see we captured something special.

And yet.

These people need to be paid.

And it’s all on me now - to pick up the pieces.

I know I’m not alone.

Incredible people stepped up to get this off the ground - donating time.

Equally incredible people have donated funds.

And there’s more we need.

Exhaustion.

Frustration.

Keep going. Keep going.

This needs to be seen.

Thank you for those who have said YES.

For those who haven’t yet, or want to again -

Super unexpected- but when a friend calls for help on a movie set … you go!!! ❤️super fun time! by @anna_linernotesfilms

Y’all it’s been a ROUGH time. I’m simultaneously working hard to finish JEWFACE and ensure it makes it to YOU

While looking for additional work to ensure I can sustain my life

While supporting my existing crowdfunding clients

While observing the world condone ACTUAL jewface & adopt antisemitism into their daily vernacular

Among other things.

I’ve been feeling like I’ve been drowning lately - cuz I have a bunch of money to raise to finish my film on top of everything.

Even though I coach people on this all the time, I’ve felt reluctant to reach back out to my community and ask for help - cuz they’ve already generously supported me and the project.

But without asking, no one knows you actually need help, and honestly, I need a lot of help right now.

So THANK YOU to my family, friends & generous backers. I put out a request just now and already am seeing support come through. I feel really moved and vulnerable and grateful. My heart is full.
