Hi, my name is Anna and I have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) or End Stage Renal Failure. CKD is a terminal and incurable disease. It is mainly caused by diabetes or high blood pressure however in my case, the cause is unknown. It’s #WorldKidneyDay and I’m writing this post to bring awareness to this sickness. It’s not a common disease among young people as 80% of kidney patients are 60 years old and above but it’s very serious nevertheless. Prevention is better than cure so don’t be afraid to go to the doctors to get checked regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. CKD usually does not have any symptoms until your kidneys are already badly damaged. Thus, the only way to know how well your kidneys are working is to get tested.
Also, if you know anyone who is going through a health challenge, be there for them. Don’t give them advice, don’t tell them what you think they should do. Just be present and offer your help for anything they might need. Nobody is an island and the journey is not meant to be walked alone. This is a link for more info:

It took 7 months but I finally managed to write about you. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for saving my life. It’s been 6 years since I last filmed myself. Life has been very tough to me and these last years have been a rollercoaster and unfortunately, more often than not, I thought of ending it myself. BUT GOD, in His infinite mercy, picked me out of the pit where circumstances and I have placed myself in. And this year, at 33, just like Jesus, I’m resurrecting and this is my first step to come out of the tomb and LIVE AGAIN. Hello everyone. How is everyone doing? I hope you’re well. It’s been a while. You’re wondering: “is that really Anna?” Yes it’s me. It’s been me since the end of January (so 7 months now). Without counting the 2 months bedridden where I couldn’t move. I was singing at our church’s youth program I really had to psych myself up to go to cos I was feeling self conscious. I’m not posting this cos I want you to feel sorry for me or pity. Neither am I bragging about being courageous in any way, shape or form. But I want you to know that I haven’t given up. Literally Monday I wanted to leave this world because I felt like my life was worth nothing and I was only a burden to my loved ones. But God in His infinite mercy saved me through the same loved ones. And He’s done that countless times in this journey. But I’ll stop for now. So many stories are coming so stay tuned if you want. Aaaaaaaaaand we’re back! I’ve been away, in seclusion and isolation but I pray that this time by His grace we are here to stay. EL - ROI, THE GOD WHO SEES ME. Friday 20.12.24 my last last lesson finished at 4pm and then it was a party🥳🥳🥳 this has been a very demanding season for me and now I’m looking forward to the Christmas holidays where I can wake up at 10, eat breakfast calmly and do whatever I want 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
To all the workers out there especially teachers, use this season to recharge, connect with yourself and your Maker and appreciate the little beauties of life 🤗

In today’s post of “What do I read next?” is “Demons” by Lester Sumrall @lestersumrall . It’s an insightful book, written in simple language with a beginner’s approach to the spiritual world. It’s a very lighthearted style despite the heavy subject which will leave you wanting to know more. But the book is a good first step. We don’t have to live afraid cos Christ already won the victory for us 🙏🏿

Yesterday was World Kidney Day. I want to honour this day for the awareness of a disease that is incurable and that kills more people than cancer. According to science, research and statistics you CAN be cancer-free but not kidney disease-free. But I serve a living God who is in the business of turning things around for HIS and my good and doing what man thinks is IMPOSSIBLE 🙏🏿 With more and more dialysis units shutting down around the world especially in developing countries, please take the time to read more about it and see how you can help. Hospital Chronicles Day 8. Today we talk about trying one more time. When you’ve believed and tried something for so long and you’re done. Tired. Can’t be bothered anymore.
