More from the morning’s shoot @theboathouseballetschool for the latest Bell edition feature, penned by @hanruss1111; some favourites beyond those that made it into the magazine. I love the way that girl is ‘breaking the fourth wall’ as it were . . . and the serene, focused boy, which felt right for black and white.

Well done to Miss Emily for creating the line of all ages . . .! Quite a challenge to get everyone facing the right way at the right moment!

All the colour 🇯🇲 🌈
All the vibes 💃🏻  These shots are some of my faves from last year’s Notting Hill Carnival. This is Izaba from @terrazencentre in Amsterdam. - not sure what he’s smoking, but it might just be a first for The Bell 😉🚬; swipe on for that unforgettable look from @lauldmiimldual971… the eyes! 
This was my third year returning to Carnival, with just my 50mm lens (it’s such a beauty, showing so much detail and luminosity). The 50 encourages me to get close, to talk, to connect – and that exchange creates that dynamism.  
I was honoured to choose this trio for the Spring edition of The Bell, alongside the wonderful work of long-time contributors @charlie_waring1 and @nigelcull.

Excited to be taking part in a group exhibition @windleshamhouse launching this Friday (Red Nose Day) for one week only. A great initiative by the school to invite alumni, parents and those with connections to the school to participate and raise funds for Comic Relief (15% of the sale of each work will go towards it).

The Private View this Friday is Invite Only, so I'm extending the invitation to those I know well and who are (naturally) quite local! Do DM me for more info - and I'll be happy to add you to the list.

I will be showing TWO very distinct series: this, which I've loosely termed 'London Streets', printed as a limited edition (A4) on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Photo Rag 308 gsm paper, and two A3 sized works from my Rimini series (swipe to see: more available to view via my website).

Small wedding. Big dress. 🤍

It was a joy to photograph Katie + Daniel’s wedding way back in early September! Taken me a while to share here :)

It was such a clever little wedding, with close family and friends gathered @arundeltownhall; then on to the mean streets of Arundel (!) . . . to then re-join with everyone @tpt_restaurant. It’s amazing to think I was only shooting for around 2 or so hours, but still a pretty packed camera roll to go through!   Such kind words from Katie afterwards too: ‘The pictures capture our special day and moments perfectly. I dare say it may have made my dad well up!’ (Swipe to see a special moment with Dad at Parsons Table!)   Congratulations to such a lovely couple 💙

Did you know we now serve the incredible sourdough made by our very own local bakery @motteandbaileybakery ? Well you do now! It’s delicious and we’re honoured to be the only restaurant they supply. Mike has this outstanding work ethic and his bakery and the team who work there, is testament to that. They even deliver it warm every morning fresh out the oven; you can’t get better than that. Their pastries are also huge and delicious…also the French baguette is an absolutely must-try! Thanks Mike for letting us share your bread with our guests, we’re lucky to have you in Arundel.

It was a pleasure to chat to Simon Pitzus, the founder of @scentloungeuk in Arundel for my latest feature for The Bell Magazine. 
We talked about the changing world of fragrance – from the rise of niche perfume houses and the craftsmanship behind them, to why more of us are building a fragrance ‘wardrobe’ rather than sticking to one signature scent. 
His philosophy is simple: fragrance shouldn’t feel intimidating. Take your time, try something unfamiliar and, most importantly, live with it on your skin before deciding. 
Simon also shared fascinating stories about some of the carefully curated brands he stocks – including @eightandbob, @anotherfragrances, @trudon and @clausporto. Swipe to see how Eight and Bob’s original fragrance is still packaged inside a book – as a nod to the time it used to be shipped from Paris to America John F. Kennedy during the Second World War! It wasn’t so much to keep it a secret from the Germans, but was literally a practical decision to keep the bottles safe!

An unforgettable portrait workshop led by @roza.wiktoria at her studio in East London. As a @nikoneurope official creator, she secured some amazing lenses for us to work with.

This portrait of model @aimeeascott was taken with a Nikon Z 85 mm F/1.2 S lens. Just stunning . . . mounted on my Z7ii. My (once!) favourite 50mm lens doesn’t feel so great anymore! There’s just a dreamy softness here . . . just love it!   Roza drew on art history to help us consider composition, how the body moves within the space; we started with the full body and gradually moved in close towards the end of the shoot. She often works with film - and perhaps my greatest lesson that day was to work harder to compose as I’m shooting. Not just think about composition back at my computer.

In this portrait, I was thinking about angles and going in much closer than I’d normally be comfortable with.

Happy Birthday to our Matthew 😍🥂who hits 21 today ‘across the pond’ (for those who don’t know he’s studying actuarial science at FSU)

Sublime cover @thesun ☀️🌙

Just a few more snaps from last night . . . I say ‘snaps’ as these were just shot on my new-ish iPhone 16 Plus. Who needs a Pro, I say, when you have a real working camera for real work!

The only limit is shooting RAW; this can be done with Adobe Lightroom Mobile but not through phone itself.

On that note, back to some editing of a stunning shoot I did recently with Melissa @eyesupcreative. In my happy place, working on the post-production. More to follow . . . taken in Goring Gap by @annabeljcary

Guess who arrived a little late to the party ?! Parked up; handed a pair of glasses just in time to experience ‘peak eclipse’! Phew . . .

Amazing atmosphere in Goring . . . that dimmed light at 7.15 is impossible to capture properly. The joy of there being a clear sky after the damp squib of 1999, which I remember trying to watch in my lunch hour at work!

There’s always Egypt next year!
