Ein Teil der Arbeit passiert im Stillen.

Es sind die kleinen Entscheidungen, die bestimmen, wie sie am Ende wirkt. taken in Poetry on Skin Tattoo by @annabelleheadlam

As much as I actually love boldness, fine lines have always been my language.
It is what my hand feels naturally drawn to.

Do they hold? If done correctly,
They absolutely do. taken in Poetry on Skin Tattoo by @annabelleheadlam

Photographing tattoos on a slender arm
is another challenge I am yet to master.

Viele kommen mit einer Idee.

Aber der Körper fragt nicht nach Ideen.
Er zeigt, was stimmig ist.

Platzierung verändert alles.

Was auf Papier richtig wirkt,
kann sich auf der Haut falsch anfühlen.

Nicht weil es ein schlechtes Design ist —
sondern weil es an dieser Stelle nicht passt.

Die Arbeit ist nicht, mehr hinzuzufügen.
Sondern zu erkennen, was wirklich funktioniert.

—

Most people come in with an idea.

But the body doesn’t ask for ideas.
It asks what actually belongs.

Placement changes everything.

What looks right on paper
can feel wrong on skin.

Not because it’s a bad design —
but because it was never meant to sit there.

The work is not to add.
It’s to recognise what fits. taken in Poetry on Skin Tattoo by @annabelleheadlam
