POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So much fun and so many peace signs! This may have been the craziest 4-day run of my career. Trip to the Benz, select championship weekend, and my first time covering a WNBA game, all back to back. I am beyond lucky to be here and even to do an outfit change in between games so I could show my support for both the teams I was covering at the Benz. (One of the only times I can do that since I typically cover both teams in the matchups I’m at!)

And on a sentimental note, it’s never a waste of time to take a moment to reflect. 1 year ago, the thought of covering the WNBA and interviewing some of the best high school players in the country on camera, was so far beyond my wildest dreams. Wish Instagram allowed me to use the entire song for the audio on this post because thinking back on the last year is hitting hard. Then to think of what I expected for my life 10 years ago, is mind-boggling. Every day is a gift, I know that very well, and may we never forget it.

What a weekend to kick off my third year of covering high school sports. Year 3, get ready ‘cause I’m coming.

Didn’t even know Bella would be back for the championship game & happened to grab my dad’s crewneck! We laughed because it was bought at my aunts graduation in 2003 — five years before Bella was born

@madelineeford and her fellow seniors are leading @lovettgbb on an upward path. Ford told me at #NorthsideMediaDay that they are not satisfied with the team’s first round finish from last year. Tune in this season to see what they can accomplish with a new coach! by @annabellereiter
