Back in April, I tore my meniscus while just being a kid at the beach 🫠 After getting hurt last year too, I was pretty bummed. But we decided to see if I could finish the MTB season, and I’m so glad we did. I learned a ton and got to make some really good memories along the way.

I won the overall at Sea Otter, State Champs, and my first XCC US Pro Cup. At Nationals I finished 2nd in XCM, 3rd in XCC, and 7th in XCO. I also got 2nd pro at Mammoth Pedalpalooza, then 1st in 19U and 2nd overall at the Big Bear Dirty Burro 50. Still kind of crazy to think about everything that’s happened this season🚲🤍

Surgery was supposed to happen August 17, but then I broke my collarbone after Big Bear. So today we’re finally fixing my meniscus.

I know getting my fitness back will take time, but I actually like the process. I squeezed in one last solid ride last night before some time off the bike. For now, it’s time to heal. Then we get to work 💪

Thank you all for the words or encouragement and prayers. @therealjasonranoa pretty sure you’ll have some kind of workout ready for me by Monday 😂 by @annabelles2011

little late with this race update, we’ve been busy traveling and racing! 😅🚵‍♀️

What a week! my first time to nationals was such a great experience.

🥈 XCM: My longest race ever! Fought through rain and traffic to finish 2nd.

🥉 XCC: Such a fun race! Fast, hot, and I finished 3rd after a great battle.

XCO: Got caught behind an early crash, then had one of my own while riding with the lead group. It was hot, technical, and I finished 8th.

Proud of my XCM and XCC results, and XCO gave me a clear goal to work on. I don’t get many chances to practice technical riding where I live, so I’m excited to keep improving and come back even stronger.

Huge thanks to everyone who supports me—I couldn’t do it without you! 💪🚵‍♀️ @accel_cycling @therealjasonranoa @kellyeboone @sweetprotection @esigrips @usacycling #endurancemtb taken in Roanoke, Virginia by @annabelles2011

Marathon Nationals - Today was a BIG day! 🤯🚵‍♀️

40 miles and 5,100’ of climbing at Marathon Nationals…almost double the distance of any race I’ve ever done! 😅

I got to battle with @mtbtwins Abby Cole for the lead the first half of the race, and it was so much fun racing together. Super happy to come away with P2! 🥈🇺🇸

Now it’s time to recover and get ready for XCC on Thursday and XCO on Saturday! 💪

Huge thank you to @accel_cycling @ridefoxbike @havocracingco_ @gripitsports, @esigrips, and especially @therealjasonranoa for all the coaching and support. And thank you @kellyeboone for being my riding buddy through all those long, hot training days. They definitely paid off today! ❤️

Long overdue Utah US Pro Cup update…

It’s been a busy few weeks between the last two US Pro Cups and then heading straight to an awesome Fourth of July in Lake Havasu with family and friends.

Midway, Utah was a solid weekend overall. The XCC course was even more technical this year, with a fun rock garden that kept everyone on their toes. I got a great start, rode smart, and traded positions several times throughout the race. Coming out of the rock garden and into the final sprint, I let just a little too much of a gap open. I gave everything I had to the line but came up just short, finishing 2nd by only 0.06 seconds. It definitely stung, but I was happy with the ride and how I performed at altitude.

The XCO on Saturday started exactly how I hoped. I got another great start, led after the first climb, and stayed at the front through much of the first half of the race. Early in the second lap, though, the altitude finally caught up with me. I got hit with a major cramp and a pounding headache heading into the first climb, and from there I slipped back to 7th. I never could recover enough to work my way back through the field. It was frustrating because I felt like I had the fitness, but I simply wasn’t acclimated enough for the pace I was pushing.

Even with that, I’m leaving Utah proud of the weekend: a 2nd in XCC, a 7th in XCO, and finishing 2nd overall in the US Pro Cup Series in my first season competing in the series. That’s something I’m really proud of.

Now it’s time to shift the focus to Nationals. Looking forward to seeing what I can do in Roanoke!

Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, sponsors, and everyone who continues to support me. It truly means a lot. Mud. Rain. Slippery everything.

Saturdays XCO in Washougal wasn’t easy, but it was definitely one of the most fun and memorable races I’ve done. Conditions were tough, but that’s what made it such a great experience.

These are the races you remember long after they’re over.

Thanks to everyone who helped make it such an awesome weekend. @accel_cycling @kendabicycle_us @esigrips @gripitsports @scvmtbteam @therealjasonranoa @kellyeboone and @cloud9media_productions for the awesome photos and @zone5promotions for an awesome race and the Huffman Family for the prize money! taken in Washougal MX Park by @annabelles2011
