It’s solstice day! 💥 what’s so special about solstices and equinoxes? They are the days that mark the start of a season; in a world that encourages us to always be doing and going, it’s an opportunity to slowwww down and reflect.

We are excited to share the Hebrew name of our newborn son — Lior Baruch.

Providing an additional Hebrew name is a tradition to connect us to the generations that came before us. We selected a few names that meant some spiritual significance.

Lior means “my light” in Hebrew. It is a name associated with many holidays, springtime, or new beginnings.

Baruch means “blessed” in Hebrew. It is a word that begins many of our ritual prayers.

The name Baruch is in direct memory of Jeremy Stein, a childhood summer camp friend of Jacob’s who tragically passed away. We greatly appreciate the continued connection with Debby Fleischer Stein.

We feel so “blessed” today to have this magical “light” enter our lives and also your lives. Thank you for surrounding Lior Baruch, son of Yisrael Tzvi and Chava Aviva, with all of your light and blessings.

Eli is TWO ✌️

Loves: Ball, bubbles, beans, Elmo, construction, playgrounds, birds, fruit, buses and trucks, the ABCs, animals, and counting.

Trips this year: the big move to Cleveland, Disney, Arizona. Road trips to Little Rock, Louisville, St. Louis. Probably some others I’m forgetting because it’s been a long year. by @annabeyerle

nonaesthetic March dump ☀️ because out of nowhere, spring has us feeling like real life again. and a week of travel means the whole month felt like a mess, but it was a good time. nice to get the heck outside by @annabeyerle
