My Papa was the man who taught me that Carpenters bleed blue. He showed me what the joy of the Lord looks like & how to share it with others. Being in a room with my Papa felt like literal sunshine. He could make me laugh with the same joke he’s been telling for years.

One thing he shared with me is that there is power in prayer. He would pray for each of his children and grandchildren by name every morning. What a blessing it was to have a prayer warrior in my life!

Al Carpenter would give you the shirt off his back in an instant. His heart was full of the Lords love. I’ve been able to hear how he served others in his life and that gives me so much comfort. TYJ for such a wonderful grandfather and role model!

We will miss you so much Papa. I can’t wait for our group hug in heaven! Love you more💙 by @annacarpenterk
