🍵 New Matcha Art Print
A little update from my studio: “I’m in the Matcha Club” is now live in the shop. It’s a soft, botanical piece inspired by slow mornings, matcha rituals, and all things green and calming. If you love tropical leaves, strawberries, and cosy kitchen vibes, this one will fit right in.
Thanks so much for supporting my artwork — I’m always brewing up new pieces, so keep an eye out for fresh designs coming soon.

I will soon be at a secret event with @lily_rose_tarts where you will need ablue to purchase this print in person, and if you can't make it then you will find it on my Etsy ! Link in bio !

I shall be sharing my foodie illistrations for @lily_rose_tarts this week in the lead up to the big event!

Some days I just need a pick me up ☕️ 🪴....
Ive had a cracking headache all day and feeling so tired. Grateful for hubby for treating me to a coffee, and I certainly needed some outdoor time for fresh air. Today reminded me of my coffee and plants art print. It was just one of those days!

Dearest Tart Lovers,

Once Upon A Tart…
One year. A family moment. And quite the story it has become.

A little tart, shared one slice at a time, became an invitation to bring people together. To share a table, exchange stories, celebrate creativity and create connections.

From our first orders to curated tart tables, workshops and gatherings of the Secret Tart Club, even a podcast this little adventure has introduced us to the most wonderful people, talented makers and inspiring women.

And now, an email bearing rather delightful news: Lily-Rose Tarts is a finalist in the 2026 UK Small Business Awards.

Look closely at this little gallery wall and you’ll find more than a business taking shape. You’ll find memories, milestones, collaborations, friendships and little pieces of everyone who has contributed along the way.

For the loveliest things are rarely created alone. They are shared, nurtured and passed around, much like a rather delicious slice of tart.

One year in, a finalist title to celebrate, and so many more stories waiting to unfold.

And so, dear tart lovers, our next rendezvous is set…at the @smallbusinessawardsuk ✨

With love,

Lily-Rose Tarts

Green or peach background? which is your favorite? by @annachengdesign

Its DRAWTOBER time ! ⏲️😌 🎨🖌 Day 1 cozy coffee ☕️ - I got carried away with the idea of drawing some trendy mugs with some cute designs. Ones which if I saw in real life I'd soon snap up ! The oranges mug is inspired by one of my own mugs at home... 😅🫡 Such a sucker for a fruity one!

Anyway - as per usual ill do my best to follow the prompts this year but I may be selective as previously ive found it difficult for time. If you'd lile to join in please head over to @theydrawandgarden and @theydrawandcook for the prompts and tag them in your drawtober ventures !

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind behind the scenes lately 🌿✨

Getting ready for the Ay Up Market in Nottingham has meant a BIG stock push — and for the first timr in many years, I’ve had to order my greeting cards instead of printing them myself (my poor printer was not about to survive 250 print outs 😅).

On top of that, I’m still settling in after moving house at the end of Feb, so honestly… getting myself organised again has been a challenge. But we’re getting there 💛

The good news? These fresh batches of cards are here and they are PERFECT for spring into summer — full of bright florals, fruity vibes, and feel-good messages 🌸🍑🌼

If you’re local, come say hi! I’ll be at The Garage at Chilwell Market this Sunday — would love to see some friendly faces 🫶

@annachengdesign is joining Autumnfolk Market! 🍂🎃

“I’m Anna, an illustrator based in Nottingham, UK, creating joyful botanical‑inspired art prints, cards, and stationery for people who love nature, colour, and a touch of whimsy. My work is rooted in a deep love of florals, fruits, and the quiet magic found in everyday moments. From Mediterranean lemons to cottage‑garden blooms, from cosy kitchen scenes to playful cats among the plants, each piece is designed to bring warmth and brightness into your home.

I’ve been illustrating for nearly a decade, but launched my shop in 2020 — a time when many of us were craving comfort and creativity. Since then, my little studio has grown into a space where I get to share artwork that celebrates slow living, gentle beauty, and the small details that make life feel lovely.

Every print and card begins as a hand‑drawn illustration and is professionally produced on high‑quality FSC approved 245gsm paper, ready to gift or frame. Whether you’re decorating a kitchen, sending a thoughtful card, or treating yourself to something cheerful, my aim is simple: to spread joy and brighten your walls.”

Day 2 Dahlia - the same colour pallette but slightly more detailed to show off those petals. It was time for a lovely floral piece but I also had to keep it to compliment my older dahlia print (nanas spice mix) so that possibly they may be viewed together some day !

Have you joined an october drawing challenge ? Id love to know, I love checking out what your all up to !
