Don’t look to the left or the right for how your relationship with God should be. Just look to Him, seek Him, and you’ll find Him.

I wish my microphone picked up what I said (user error). But, in the midst of my box squatting 225 before I full squat, I had already determined in my mind that I shouldn’t have jumped to such a heavy weight so quickly and asked myself “Now who do I think I am jumping straight to 225 like that?”

& God immediately corrected me. And had me literally take that back and remind myself of who I am.

I then go to the bar, confidently, telling myself “Just give me 3” and God yet again, corrected me and my mindset. I began to keep going realizing the weight was begging to feel easier (until it wasn’t 😂). But God showed me how quickly I was just like Peter walking on the water. Not only did I just doubt the ability altogether, but then after I accepted the ability. I restricted how much I can do — not prohibiting the power. And if I say I am a child of God, who serves a God capable to do all things, with no limits, and with all power says otherwise, then why am I doubting my ability to do anything I put my mind to?

Well then God showed me again, get out of your mind & get in mine. Set your mind on Me. So when I order you to do a thing, you don’t speak against what I have already written. It’s not always the enemy who defeats, sometimes we defeat ourselves before even picking up a weapon in the battle.

I know you all didn’t expect to read that, nor did I expect to say it. But again, that is just the kind of God I serve. Always sharpening, always lifting, always loving, and always teaching.
