THEME: WITHIN THE ELEMENT

The lovely Margo, bathed in the summer sun. While we were working through the fashion looks, the shoot was calm and effortless. But the moment she stepped into the water, that gentle demeanor gave way to confidence in every movement. That is what it looks like when someone is truly in their element. The third shot is my absolute favorite!!!

SUMMER EVENT
THEME: SOIRÉE CHARM

I finally found the time to bring this creative idea to life. I’ve always loved the aesthetic of those cinematic evening gatherings: beautiful outfits, dinner in a glass pavilion surrounded by nature, wine and unhurried conversations in good company. There’s nowhere you need to rush to — you can simply enjoy the moment.

I’ve wanted to create something with this kind of atmosphere for a long time, and I finally found a way to bring it into my frames. The original idea was completely different, but while going through the material, I realized I wanted to change the direction and the look to bring this particular story to life.

I love how, within the same location, an outfit can completely change the mood of a frame, while the model’s character gives it a meaning of its own. For me, this series is about “slow summer.” About that state of mind when there’s nowhere to rush and you can simply dissolve into the warmth of the sun.

I loved the styling and the location, but the sunset was my favorite part of this shoot. There's something special about racing against time during golden hour. Every few minutes the light changes, and with it, the mood of each frame. Even standing in the exact same spot, you can capture a completely different atmosphere if you're quick enough. Maybe that's the magic of sunset: no two moments are ever the same.

Sometimes, before a photoshoot even begins, it's impossible to know which idea will work best—especially when you're meeting someone for the first time. We started with a general direction, but it quickly became clear what this portrait was meant to be.

The way Kristin carried herself, her confident posture, and a gaze that seemed to say, "She knows something," naturally shaped the direction of the portrait. The gardenia became a harmonious part of the image, symbolizing mystery, confidence, and inner strength. Thank you, Kristin!

Creative portrait projects aren't about time or limitations — they're about an idea and the way it unfolds through a series of images. We weren't chasing trends or relying on elaborate sets. Our goal was simple: to create a portrait that reveals character, conveys inner feelings, and captures the subtle traits that make us who we are.

I love how the fern leaves create a quiet, calming contrast to the tension in her gaze. To me, they almost seem to whisper, "Let go and trust the process." Thank you for your openness, Lily ❤️
