You don’t even notice how quietly your identity becomes exactly what the algorithm feeds you.

That’s how the system works — gently, invisibly, shaping your vision before you even claim it as your own. Old marketing loves this. It wants you predictable, “aspirational”, easy to influence.
It wants to overwrite your taste with whatever is currently optimized to convert.

That’s why I started looking for different ways — and eventually created my own ethical branding approach for @heedcollective_

Because identity isn’t a trend or a preset.
It’s a timeline — a story holding both where you come from and who you dare to become.
And at the same time, it’s something you consciously create — if you’re brave enough to choose for yourself rather than consume what’s suggested.

This year, I tested that on myself first.
My approach — ethical branding, identity architecture, the curatorship of one’s inner narrative — isn’t about telling people who to be.
It’s about helping them show up in the way that feels true to them.

I ain’t born typical — and neither are you.
Identity is not something you find in the feed.
It’s something you build with intention. by @annagudvin

Lately, I’ve been thinking about life itself as an identity practice.

Not identity as something we define once.
Not a fixed image of who we are.
But something we keep shaping through the way we choose, move, work, dress, create, relate, and build our surroundings.

These are a few moments from the past weeks when I felt a very clear sense of recognition:
this is mine.
this feels like me.
this is the kind of life I want to keep creating.

I notice that the more aligned I am with my own taste, values, rhythm, and way of being, the more the world seems to respond to it.

Certain places appear.
Certain people.
Certain conversations.
Certain kinds of beauty.

Maybe that is what identity practice means to me right now:
creating a life that increasingly feels like a reflection of who I am. And noticing the moments when life reflects it back. by @annagudvin

What makes a digital experience feel alive?

Motion, rhythm, interaction, atmosphere, unpredictability… the digital experiences we remember are usually the ones that make us feel something.

That’s why the @googlefordevs Google Stitch x @contra challenge caught my attention. The whole idea is exploring interfaces that feel alive — not just static UI.

Curious to see where web experiences and interaction design are going next 👀

New circle around the sun. ☀️

Before my birthday, a friend @alexisexumphd shared a story with me and used the word “fortunate.”
Something about it stayed with me.

For a long time, I believed that everything I had came from effort — from working, designing, acting.
And yes, effort shaped me. But this year, I finally allowed myself to see something else too:

Fortune.

Not luck without action — but the quiet fortune of being alive at the same time as the life I dreamed of.

I am fortunate to run @heedcollective_ and create brands through my own philosophy and approach.
I am fortunate to have an incredible team @twinsmammy90 and my amazing partner @existacial around me.❤️

I am fortunate to live in Portugal.
I am fortunate to have close ones who would fly across countries to celebrate life with me. (@gleb_serdyuk and Nastya )❤️

I am fortunate to have friends who celebrated me, @myowngardn @shouldbetrue @olegoxymoron Alex @mriy.nuk @artiks_eu @rafael__vilaca @andrepeppr

I am fortunate to be alive.
I am fortunate to design my life intentionally.

I am fortunate to keep moving forward — to have the courage to say hello, and the grace to say goodbye.

Now I am 30.
And now, I finally allow myself to feel fortunate. ✨ by @annagudvin

My life and work are about building clarity —
turning abstract meaning into something you can see, feel, recognize.

Not just in what I create, but in how I think, what I consume, what I let shape me.

Lately — @mushroomcompadres Lion’s Mane in my golden milk. A small ritual that helps me stay present with my thoughts and hold onto ideas a little longer.

Because everything starts with how you think.
And eventually — becomes something others can feel. by @annagudvin

My closest people. Thom Yorke. Radiohead. Belonging ❤️
As my close friend @daleeko says — “it’s you if you were a man.” It’s special every time I’m at Thom York concert — to experience his presence.

At Radiohead concerts, in Thom presence, I feel something rare —
that my sensitivity, my senses, have a place here.
There are no “you overthink,” “you’re too sensitive”.
It’s like being on my own planet,
where I don’t need to wear a spacesuit 👩‍🚀

This time, for the first time, I wasn’t alone at his concert. I was with my close friends — a huge gift,
and a feeling of belonging. So special.

All I need:
to be at a concert of my favorite band, with my favorite people.
To look good, eat good, sleep good.
To see beauty, hear music, laugh.
To feel belonging — to a pack, a flock.
Yes, I’m often lost.
But in these moments, I’m found. by @annagudvin

Your identity is the blueprint; your life design is the expression of it. If you don’t make a choice, someone else will make it for you. I’m pretty proud of the life design I’ve created lately — built through my own choices.

After shrinking, fighting, and running, finally comes acceptance and love. From this place, it’s a true pleasure to design life on new terms — with a deeper awareness of my needs and values, and with greater clarity in my identity, shaped more and more by me rather than by outside circumstances. by @annagudvin

October was a month of looking for what I can fight for — and it turned out, it’s for whom.

A continuous living process of defining who I really work for. (branding tip: the question “who are your clients?” is not a one-time exercise. it’s a living, evolving process.)

Every time you name them more clearly,
you see yourself more clearly too.

I work with people who resist the shallow world through what they build —
visionary founders, somewhat artistic soul, creatives in a broader sense, people who care about meaning.

They’re counterculture at the core,
but grounded enough to move within the system.
Not rebels for rebellion’s sake —
but for clarity, meaning, beauty, and truth.

The more I name them,
the more I see my own identity clearly:
I help them build identities that translate their depth without losing it — as classic marketing often does by @annagudvin

Life has cleared away the outer things I used to lean on for a sense of worth and belonging.
I accept that - it’s a sign I’m ready to find it inside myself. Even when all I see around me is about finding and proving it in the outer,
I know my path calls me inward first. I am not here just for the outer, even if I love and respect the outer world so much.

My path doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
It doesn’t need to be straight, or easy, or picture-perfect.
I accept my choice of this path —
the path that doesn’t let me fall asleep or hide in illusions.

Sometimes it feels lonely,
because not everyone can relate to the road I’m walking.
But it’s still the right one.

I don’t need to be ashamed of it.
I don’t need to grieve that it’s not different.
I can simply walk it —
finding the courage to breathe in, again and again.

The Earth holds me.
The Sky gives me space.
Between them — I am.

I have the right to breathe here.
I have the right to stand here.
I have the right to live here.

My space unfolds around me,
and it recognizes my presence.
I am contained. I am received. I am worthy.

Here, where I am,
life finds meaning in my breath.
Here, where I am,
the space is already blessed by my being.

I am. And that is enough. by @annagudvin
