📖 And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer - Friedrich Backman
I’ve read several of Backman’s books by now and what fascinates me most is how every single one is completely unique. He experiments with different styles and ideas, yet each story becomes an experience that stays with you long after you’ve finished reading. These short stories were subtly touched by magical realism, filled with life lessons, metaphors, imagination and emotion. More than once, I found myself pausing to reread a passage and reflect on it. While not every story captured my heart, I still feel the desire to return to this book one day and truly immerse myself in it again.

📖 Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil - V. E. Schwab
I don’t know if I’ve ever read a book that made me feel such a wide range of emotions—and not all of them were pleasant. After just 100 pages, it felt as though I had already read an entire novel. Something was always happening, and the story was full of unexpected twists. Even long after I finished the book, I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I found myself missing the characters.

📖 Scythe - Neal Shusterman
I’ve read this book for the third time now, but since I somehow have a talent for forgetting the details of books after a few years, it felt almost like reading it for the first time again — and I enjoyed it just as much.
This book just pulls you in so much that you barely even notice that suddenly, you’ve gone through another hundred pages.
There are so many characters, but each of them feels unique and memorable.
And is it just me, or does this book not feel quite as futuristic as it did when I first read it at eighteen? Well, I guess you’ll have to find out for yourself! And then, please, let me know.
