Chloe + Sam at her childhood lake home in Michigan.

Lake Michigan, a ceremony down by the shore, film in the dunes, light leaks everywhere, and Chloe—self-described “not a minimalist”—making a very convincing case for more.

More nostalgia. More color. More people you love in one place. (And my personal favorite - More trapeze acts and groom DJ’ing at your after party)

Shot on film + digital along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Maddie and Emilio at the lake, on film.

It’s been a wild summer, full of amazing clients and work that I’m so proud of. Shooting more and more film, which translates for my eye into more and more real/raw emotional imagery. I have been absent from this platform and focusing instead on a craft of being fully present with my clients. In a world that constantly moving towards immediacy - I want to breathe and give your photographs the time they deserve. I promise it’s worth it. taken in Leech Lake, Minnesota by @annajon.es
