7 years of racing, countless Saturday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, pr’s, tears, memories, and hours of running later and I don’t think it will ever feel like it was enough. People ask me all the time if i actually like running and the truth is I love running and everything that comes with it. I learned if you want something bad enough, and work hard enough for it, you will make it happen. After 4 years, I finally won all three of my events at region track, the 800, 1600, and 3200, in one day and I couldn’t have asked for a better season.

I can count on two hands how many races my parents have missed and that says a lot. If it weren’t for that support I would’ve quit a long time ago. I owe most of my accomplishments to coach Brittney who never gave up on me and for being the best mentor I could ask for over the past 4 years. I will forever be indebted and grateful to Skiles Private Coaching program for the memories and lessons I learned along the way🫶🏼🫶🏼. by @annakate.m
