A special guest on championship day 🥇 We were thrilled to welcome Australian Olympic Team Chef de Mission Anna Meares to the 2026 Asia-Pacific Sixes Lacrosse Championships, where she helped present the medals. It was Anna’s second visit with our athletes, after meeting the squads earlier in the week. That connection meant a lot to our players, many of whom have their sights set on LA28. Having Anna there to hand out medals on the final day was the perfect way to finish. She’s an Olympic champion herself, and she was celebrating some of our potential future Olympians 🇦🇺 Thank you, Anna, and thank you to the Australian Olympic Committee for your support of lacrosse’s Olympic journey 💚💛 #APSLC26 #Lacrosse #LA28 #AusOlympicTeam taken in Sunshine Coast, Queensland by @annameares

⏱️ 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆 Apeldoorn, 2011. A clean sweep against the odds. 💪 Three years after a heavy crash that left her with a fractured vertebra in her neck, @annameares answered the only way she knew how. The Australian won the Individual Sprint, the Team Sprint and the Keirin to underline her supremacy. One rider. One UCI World Championship. Three World Titles. What an incredible speaker to round off RMX26. 🚴‍♀️ World and Olympic champion cyclist Anna Meares joined us on stage to share an honest and powerful story of adversity, resilience and what it really takes to keep moving forward. Her message? Focus on the ‘what is’, not the ‘what ifs’ and embrace change, even when it’s hard. Be proud of what you’ve achieved. 💫 #RMX26 #AnnaMeares taken in Novotel Twin Waters Resort by @annameares

👀 First look! Check out their faces 😲 The @dolphinsaus have visited the LA28 Swimming venue – the 40,000-seat SoFi Stadium.  When swimming is held in the 2nd week of the Olympics, it is set to break attendance records as the “friendly rivalry” between Australia and America goes to new heights.   #TeamAUS | #RoadtoLA28 taken in SoFi Stadium by @annameares

What does it really take to be an Olympian? 🥇 As Australia looks toward LA28 and Brisbane 2032, moments like this are why this partnership matters. Anna Meares OAM OLY and Jane Flemming OAM OLY reminded a room full of US and Australian leaders that it’s never just about the medal, it’s community, family, and the mental strength to keep showing up. Thank you to the Australian Olympic Committee for a special evening hosted by our Chairman Andrew N. Liveris AO and AOC President Ian Chesterman AM and for bringing this conversation to New York. by @annameares
