I’m still lost for words about last Friday at Gare.

I slipped so easily into that special flow state, the ~zone. I had this moment of realization in the middle of the set where I felt very very small and deeply grateful to be part of something much bigger.

Of course I was shaky to play after an artist I admire so much. Before I enter, my belly felt like a void but bloated from the stress 🤰I felt like I have swallowed the moon and it was electrifying me 🌚

Yet, the energy of it all felt like an ode to art, to music, to the people, to the dancefloor, and surely to @gareporto 🤍

During those 1.5 hours, I (we all) was dripping with sweat, and I almost forgot I was physically there. It felt insanely real and raw, but also dreamy like I was floating above us all. I wasn’t trying to read the crowd, I felt like I was part of the crowd, one of the most beautiful flow states I’ve ever experienced.

Being a DJ and having the spotlight on me has always scared me, since I’m more of an introvert. I love the fact that we play in the dark. It’s strange when people know my name, but it’s so nice when what comes after is “I love your work.” It’s frightening for me to be in front of people, but it’s such an honor to live moments like this and to share our common love for music. This makes every electrifying-moon-feeling worth it. I will be forever grateful for this.

Thank you to everyone at @gareporto from staff to the dancers to my dear friends. Thank you for all the messages, audios, hugs, smiles. Big thanks to @amulador. My fourth time In that booth was another “one for the books” as they say. And we made it all together 🫂 the DJ alone is just one crazy person who loves bleeps and kicks, shall we never forget that we all need eachother to give it a meaning 🪷

PS.: I will post soon the recorded audio from the set 🙂‍↕️

🌀 It’s really difficult for me to express my gratitude for what I experienced during my first time in Berlin. I feel like I went down the rabbit hole, but instead of Wonderland, I ended up in Synth City. It’s crazy that it took me 27 years to discover my place in music, but now I’m sure it lies between cables and knobs. I’ve had this dream for at least 5 years, where my first time in Berlin would have a purpose (to study something) but I didn’t know exactly what. Well, now this chapter is written, and I’m ready for the next ones. I am deeply grateful to everyone who was part of this journey.🌀

This Thursday I’ll be back at @planobporto, playing from 00-03 right before dear @otnip_techno__ 🧑‍🩰

Swipe to see a video from my first time there in 2023. long story short… during that week, I had gastroenteritis for the first time in my life (lots of 1st times that year)… honestly thought I’d die 😭 It was superr strong, so strong that I ended up playing without having eaten the whole day (was basically surviving on water that week)

during my set, sometimes I would crouch down to hide for a few seconds to bite some salt and water crackers so I wouldn’t pass out while playing… I had lost some kilos during that week and was looking skinny and fragile like a bamboo 😭

Luckily no one noticed i was sick, the night turned out great, and now I have a story to tell 🫂

anyway, I m back tomorrow and I promise I’ll eat a lot before and im healthy and shiny 😌 see uuu taken in Porto, Portugal by @annapetracca_

Em cartaz de 18 de setembro a 18 de outubro, Interlocuções Audiovisuais Brasil-Portugal é a primeira exposição internacional realizada pelo L.E.I.A, em parceria com a Universidade da Maia (UMAIA, Portugal) e com o Centro de Investigação em Artes e Comunicação (CIAC, Portugal). During my last visit to Berlin, @lmnl_instinct welcomed me to her studio for a conversation. She shares a little about how it all started, her universe, and shows us her Eurorack setup.

We met at the UdK summer workshop she mentions in the video, which makes it even more special to have her as the very first guest in this series 🌿

long story (not so) short: @artsmurder and I met in the most old-school way possible: on the street, at night, in front of a bar back in 2018…19?... I had purple hair, he w his dreads, and we started talking about whatever.

It was at his house that I met my boyfriend 7 years ago. It was at his workplace that I played my first DJ set ever (it was still drum and bass back then). I wanted to play on professional equipment and didnt have the money to buy any gear. All I had was that ddj400, and I was scared shitless whenever I saw a professional setup. So I saved up and took mentoring classes, and he was there too. I wanted to learn production, and who took the course with me? Yep, him. Oh and he was the one who told me about waking life!! my fav place in the world <3

And that’s without even mentioning @solaris.gathering , of course, but everyone already knows about that, because he’s also one of the faces of Solaris.

He was one of the first people I met when I arrived in Portugal, and somehow, without ever planning it, just organically and naturally, he’s there in so many of my most special memories. A really natural, light and raw connection, built over almost ten years :0

It took us a while, but it’s finally happening!! and in a very special place!! we’ll play our first b2b at @krakwua.kall this saturday at 8am. very!! excited!! to close this beautiful summer like thissss 👽👽

Here’s the recording of my 2-hour ambient / experimental / downtempo / dub / …etc(?) dj set at @muti.collective @toca_do_sadhu

It was during sunset and felt like being among friends and family, even though it was my first time there <3 Extremely and eternally grateful for this!

See the second slide for the tracklist <3 Spent HOURS thinking about this set and researching. Lots of new discoveries and old artists that I already loved. Of course heavy on storytelling, but you tell me 🫵
