Looking for a meal that supports your health goals without sacrificing flavour? Our Fasolia with Griddled Chicken recipe is a type 2 diabetes-friendly powerhouse and brings the heart of Mediterranean family cooking straight to your kitchen 🍲 This recipe comes from our guest developer @annas_kitchentable and is inspired by her Greek Cypriot traditions 🇬🇷 It is surprisingly simple to prepare - but offers serious nutritional value with every serving packing 47.3g protein to support muscle health and satiety, and 12.1g fibre to help stabilise blood sugar levels. Fasolia can easily be adapted to use chicken, fish, lean steak or grilled halloumi as the protein source - which shows how easily the recipes on The Fast 800 programme can be adapted to suit the different tastes and preferences within your household 🧀🍗 Click the link-in-bio for the full free recipe 👉️ by @annas_kitchentable
The fouth of my recipes and images developed for @thefast800_official Fast800 Is a diet (and brand) I've always liked. I know people close to me who, through following it, have made huge strides towards a healthier lifestyle when living with Type2 diabetes. I myself am type 2 diabetic. This chimmichurri steak with roasted summer vegetables is a great one for the summer months. It's filling without being heavy, and packs a big flavour. It works great with pork or chicken too! For this project I kept the styling simple, with a focus on the naturally bright colours of the dish and letting the delicious flavours shine. This recipe is available on the Fast800 website and right now they have a 7 day free trial so head over to their Instagram page for the link. There are 8 more of my recipes there too! Hope you enjoy the upcoming shots as much I enjoyed creating them!! #cypriot #pasta #fast800 #type2diabetes #fast800recipes @heartcyprus @lovecyprus_official by @annas_kitchentable
As a kid I LOVED Nesquik milkshake, they were my favourite, a treat as we couldn't have too many, they were quite high in sugar I remember and i was a VERY hyperactive child! As an adult i kind of forgot about them, but when i was going to visit a very pregnant friend and asked what her sweet cravings were (as I never turn up without a bake) she said - Strawberry milkshake! They're sweet and nostalgic, a balance of vanilla and fresh strawberries, a light pink sponge makes them feel extra summery.really do taste like a proper icecream milkshake! I used the fabulous @vanillamart_ for my vanilla. I know I've spoken about them before but the quality of your ingredients really does make a difference and their vanilla is easily the best on the market here in the UK. This uses their fabulous vanilla essence but the vanilla paste also works really well! The very same I use in all my bakes and ice cream and I use their pods in my yearly batch of rhubarb and custard cordial!! Give them a go when strawberries are at their best this summer. I dare you to try and not smile when you taste them! The recipe is up on my website and will be first on the list! #strawberrymilkshake #strawberrymilkshakecupcakes #summercupcakes #summerbaking by @annas_kitchentable
The third of my recipes and images developed for @thefast800_official Fast800 Is a diet (and brand) I've always liked. I know people close to me who, through following it, have made huge strides towards a healthier lifestyle when living with Type2 diabetes. With close family members significantly lowering blood sugars and making real life and health altering changes. I am also diabetic myself and their recipes are a game changer. This Mediterranean roasted vegetable tagliatelle is a go to for the summer months for me when we get heaps of homegrown tomatoes from Sam's family. It's light and full of fresh summer flavours, which is perfect for the time of year when we're all craving a bit of brightness. Plus we're eating those veggies when they're at their very best! I top mine with grated halloumi but if you want to keep it vegan you can just leave the cheese off!! For this project I kept the styling simple, with a focus on the naturally bright colours of the dish and letting the delicious flavours shine. This recipe is available on the Fast800 website and right now they have a 7 day free trial so head over to their Instagram page for the link. There are 8 more of my recipes there too! The second of my recipes and images developed for @thefast800_official Fast800 Is a diet (and brand) I've always liked. I know people close to me who, through following it, have made huge strides towards a healthier lifestyle when living with Type2 diabetes. With close family members significantly lowering blood sugars and making real life and health altering changes. This griddled chicken and with fruity tabouleh style salad is one on repeat in our house. It's light and full of fresh summer flavours, which is perfect for the time of year when we're all craving a bit of brightness. For this project I kept the styling simple, with a focus on the naturally bright colours of the dish and letting the delicious flavours shine. This works great with grilled halloumi too if you're veggie! And tofu if you're vegan! We’re excited to announce that our latest guest chef recipes have now launched on the programme! Our new Greek 🇬🇷 recipe series was developed by @annas_kitchentable in collaboration with The Fast 800, and was inspired by Anna’s Greek Cypriot traditions and love of family cooking. This Fasolia with Griddled Chicken is a rich, hearty stew that is not only simple to make, it has an impressive 12.1g fibre and 47.3g protein per serve, making it especially suitable for people on GLP-1 medication - although everyone can benefit from the nutrition in this tasty dish 🍲🍗 Our health coach and recipe developer Nicole is pescatarian, so here she made two serves with chicken, and two serves with fish - which shows how easily the meals can be adapted to suit the different tastes and preferences within your household. For a vegetarian option, some grilled halloumi as your protein would be absolutely delicious! 🧀 Whilst our members get access to the full Greek series, along with over 900 other delicious recipes from around the world, we invite you to try out this recipe to get a taste of how delicious, and easy, The Fast 800 meal plans can be! Click the link-in-bio for the full free recipe 👉️ by @annas_kitchentable
