Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Portland, lies a charming estate built in 1912.

The @laurelhurstclub has all the feeling of an intimate backyard wedding, while still having ample room and amenities for all of your friends & family.

After the ceremony, simply walk right across the street and you’ll find yourself in Laurelhurst Park - another beautiful setting for portraits.

This venue is such a Portland gem and I can’t wait to come back soon!

Walking into the University Club of Portland for the first time honestly stopped me in my tracks. The architecture, the giant windows, the chandeliers, the timeless details, everything about this venue feels classic, elegant, and full of character.

Before this wedding, I searched everywhere trying to find inspiration and real wedding galleries from other photographers who had shot here, especially to get a feel for the lighting situation, and surprisingly… there were very few. It was almost impossible to find enough to really prep from.

Needless to say, I came way more prepared than I probably needed to be, but wow, this venue made everything easy. From the stunning historic architecture to the bride and groom’s incredible color choices, every single detail photographed beautifully.

And honestly… I would LOVE to photograph a Christmas wedding here 😍 The chandeliers, the historic charm, candlelight, deep winter tones, evergreen touches, black tuxes, velvet details, this venue would be absolute magic during the holiday season. It already feels timeless, but at Christmas? Unreal.

This is officially one of those Portland venues I’d be excited to shoot again and again.
