The good ole days. by @annatesshurst
What a joy it was to watch our Everett this season. For a boy who’s never cared to know the difference between a spiral and strike, who would rather color and build legos than shoot a basketball, I couldn’t be more proud of the way he stepped outside of his comfort zone, pushed himself, made new friends, and really began to thrive. 9 games. 12 goals. Until next year ⚽️🖤 by @annatesshurst
SIX. 🥹🎂 What a big year it’s been for Everett. Baseball. Swim lessons. Soccer. Learning to ride a bike. Starting kindergarten. Becoming a big brother all over again. So many new things, and somewhere in the middle of all of it, our little boy grew up so much. And while I’m proud of everything he’s learned and all the courage he’s gained this year, I’m most proud of who he is becoming. He has the sweetest, most tender heart. He prays before every meal and every night before bed. If I’m not feeling well or one of his brothers is hurt or upset, he’ll ask if he can pray for us. 🥹 He is nurturing and thoughtful and truly the best big brother. He is SO smart. He could sit and color or draw forever. He loves going to school and getting to spend the day with his besties. And this year especially, we’ve watched him become so much braver and more confident in himself. There are so many things I want to remember about Everett at six, but mostly I want to remember his heart. The way he loves people. The way he takes care of his brothers. The way he talks to Jesus so naturally. The way he feels things deeply and loves so big. Watching you grow is one of the greatest privileges of my life, Everett. I am so incredibly proud of you and so thankful God chose me to be your mama. Happy 6th birthday to the boy who made me a mom. 🤍 We love you more than you’ll ever know. by @annatesshurst

Baby Hurst Boy #3 due 6/1/26 💙 The sweetest part of finding out another boy is coming is that about a month ago Everett told us he prayed and asked God what the baby was going to be and God TOLD HIM a boy. Last night I asked him again, and he confidently said, “It’s going to be a boy, mom.” 💙🥹 by @annatesshurst
Let’s not support sin in the name of empathy and compassion. And let’s definitely not call it God’s way. by @annatesshurst

Happy 2nd Birthday, Elias James! We love our ball playing, truck loving, wild man! 🥰 by @annatesshurst
Happy 4th Birthday, Everett John! I think my favorite thing this past year is watching you be the best big brother. I never want to forget you saying, “Hey, buddy,” in the sweetest voice as you greet him in the morning. Or you hugging him and saying, “we love this baby.” You’re nurturing and kind. You are an encourager. You tell me I’m the “best cooker” (for peanut butter and jellies) and tell your dad he’s the best story teller. You are so smart! Your attention to detail is unmatched. I love our bedtime snuggles. Your bestest friend is Samuel! (“Samel”) and he’s your hype man. My favorite thing you say right now is “anything” in the place of “nothing” and “whobody” instead of just “who.” You love dinosaurs and all animals. You love school. You love for ALLLLL 4 of us to be together. 🖤 I thank God for you. You are a reward. by @annatesshurst
