Show Dirk Van Saene, 1990, Paris

Amazing memories to a bunch of friends helping Dirk with his show. There was no budget, everything was handmade.
Invitation and T-shirts: cut & paste, I still love it!
We had a lot of fun, a great team!

Spring Summer 1994

The envelop and invitation are perforated. When they arrived from the printer, the perforations weren’t open yet. ‘Fanning’ them out created a shower of confetti.

Behind the scenes of the MoMu expo The Antwerp Six.
This is the invitation I designed for Dries Van Noten Collection Winter 88-89
NOT TO BE MODERN
The invitation was pleated and the text was hidden in the folds. When it arrived from the printer, it was not pleated. So I pleated them by hand, then ironed them, one by one.

Happy Birthday dear Dirk!!!
Inspired by the experimental and uncompromising talent of Dirk Van Saene, I designed this invitation for the Winter 1996-97 collection. While browsing through my archive I came across it again. The poster was enterily handmade, using cut paper and collage techniques, screen printed.
