[JEUNES COMMISSAIRES – TRAVEL RESEARCH GRANT]

✨ Anne Vimeux (@anne_vimeux) is one of the curatorial laureates of the travel and research grant of Jeunes Commissaires 2025.

As part of this grant, her curatorial text "How are we supposed to pick up just one life ?" draws on the birth of her daughter Zora and the children's novel Die Rote Zora (1941), whose heroine inspired a revolutionary feminist collective active in West Germany in the 1970s. Drawing on this dual resonance—both personal and political—she aims to develop a hybrid research project that uses the prism of fiction to examine current forms of collective creation and action.

Today, sissi club is 6 years old 💘

In the heart of the Réformés district in Marseille, sissi club has been growing since 2019 as a singular space:
Both an art gallery and a cultural association, it’s a home for emerging forms, political gestures and narratives under construction.

It also represents 6 years of complicity, research and links forged with artists who have become very dear to us. And with whom we have grown so much.

sissi club is a project for two, in motion, evolving with us, to the rhythm of our lives and the world around us.

This portrait by Marion Ellena, taken in March 2025, celebrates the road we’ve travelled - through work, trust and a founding friendship.

Many thanks to all those who continue to make this adventure possible. Let’s keep going :)

Au cœur des Réformés, à Marseille, sissi club grandit depuis 2019 comme un espace singulier :
À la fois galerie d’art et association culturelle, c’est un lieu d’accueil pour les formes émergentes, les gestes politiques, les récits en construction.

Ce sont aussi 6 années de complicités, de recherches, de liens tissés avec des artistes qui nous sont devenus très cher.e.s. Et avec qui nous avons tant mûri.

sissi club est un projet porté à deux, en mouvement, qui évolue avec nous, au rythme de nos vies et du monde qui nous entoure.

Ce portrait signé Marion Ellena, réalisé en mars 2025, célèbre ce chemin parcouru — fait de travail, de confiance et d’une amitié fondatrice.
