I think 2025 was God teaching me that He can make flowers bloom even in the rockiest of valleys. Thank you to everyone who nurtured this sprouting garden and shone a bit of His light into my life.

This highlight reel is both a documentation of countless blessings and a reminder of the stark disparity between the moments we photograph in all of their glory and the moments we conceal, wiping away streams of sorrow in hopes that they will disappear. Whatever the new year holds, may we be brave enough to share and let others into the latter of these moments and to see that God was already there with us.

For real though, this trip was the blessing of a lifetime. Especially as a freshman, it has been incredible to jump into a group as breathtakingly passionate, talented, and God-fearing as the Hope College Orchestra. There really is no way to do this opportunity justice with an Instagram caption, but I can’t imagine having gone to Carnegie with any other people.
