No matter what life throws at her, cover girl Anneleise Sanchez says her love for horses has remained constant.

The daughter of Cuban immigrants, Anneleise was the first in her family to be born on American soil, the first to attend college, and the first to ride horses. Through teenage trials, college, career changes, the birth of her daughter, divorce, and finding her foothold as a single mom, the Miami native Sanchez has always been able to call on her love for horses.

The story of Krome:

The week before I found him I was at home with my daughter and Dakota when a couple of situations had happened where it caused me to want a guard dog and have some additional protection. Trust, if you know Dakota you know he’s a lover and not a fighter. So, I was looking into trained k9s and pretty much believed these dogs were out of price range.

Fast forward to the weekend…

It’s Mother’s Day weekend and I’m driving in my car with Dakota (my mini Aussie) to my Tia’s house for a pool party in the Redlands. Come to find six week old Krome is chilling off the side of the road. Took him in and showed up to with another plus 1 to a pool party 😂🐶 And after a dna test I find out he’s 80% Belgian Malinois & 20% German Shepherd.

& now he’s about to be TWO! 🤍 Blessed to have this boy in my life.
