Different countries, different reasons, same cause.

People are in the streets, fighting for a more equitable world. Yes I am an acting coach, yes this is an acting page but historically, the arts have always been inherently political. So we need to know what’s happening around us, it does impact us all no matter where you live or how safe you presume you are.

We need to talk about it, write about it, share and to create.

Creation = Liberation and when you stop waiting for people/industries to give you the permission to express yourself, connect and fulfil your purpose that’s when you find true creative freedom. by @annemusisi

One of the most difficult things to do sometimes is admit when something isn’t working for you. It takes courage because it requires us to let go of the familiar to welcome in better from the unknown.

Actors are scared to admit that they may not want to be a part of the industry anymore in case it means they’ll never be able to do what they love again and that’s not true. What you’re wanting to give up is not your dream, but the unnecessary hoops we are made to jump to get act in the first place.

Create with abandon and authority. No one can stop you from bringing your dreams to life, you don’t need anyone’s permission, just a good community that helps you make it happen and an unrelenting love for the craft.

Go in favour, go in grace, make your dreams happen at your own pace ✨🙆🏾‍♀️

Will not be available for new work or socially until the end of the year...replies will be slow, dare I say comatose (sometimes pulling 12 hour days… you’d think I was a millionaire LOL nope. Gas is just extortionate).

Actors , you are not going insane, you’re just sick of it. Come talk to some people who’ve been then and let’s work out how to get you on a path that still creative but a whole lot more fulfilling and empowering than whatever it is the status quo has to offer.
The industry can be supplementary to your career, not essential. We’re gonna talk about all the ways we can make that possible.
