POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In 2024, I illustrated and designed a children’s book on dementia in collaboration with the @korian_stiftung and the care home @haus_spreetalhof in Berlin, which was an incredible opportunity to connect two fields that are very close to my heart: illustration and neurology.

Stories connect people on a fundamental level, and this book aims to bring together not only those living with dementia and their families, but also the caregivers who support them daily.

The book is available for free at www.korian-stiftung.de/märchen-zum-thema-demenz
Check it out ✨

I’m excited to share that the new brochure “Let’s Talk About Sex” is now available! 🎉

I’ve had the privilege of designing it as part of the PEESA project, in collaboration with the Korian Foundation @korian_stiftung and the Catholic University of North Rhine-Westphalia. This 60-page guide offers valuable insights, reflection questions, and resources to encourage open discussions about sexuality in older age.
It’s free to download (in German) from the Korian Foundation website: www.korian-stiftung.de.

This is the third brochure I’ve worked on with the Foundation, and I’m very happy to see it going public today! by @annesvelten

Spring is in full bloom! 🌸

Just in time for the new garden season I finished my mom’s new Garden Calendar to help her keep track of all the little to-do’s around her greens.

How do you keep track of what to do in which season in your garden? 🪴

Heya!
It’s been a while but don’t get fooled, I’ve been busy working on so many exciting new projects that time’s just been flying by in an instance.

More recently I’ve been asked to draw a series of images depicting aspects of a balanced Ayurvedic lifestyle and how to live it in areas such as: Family & Job, digestion, home, minimalism, Ayurvedic constitution, healing plants, detox, cyclic balanced living, mindfulness/stress, women‘s health, routines and overall health.

Can you guess which one is which? ✨

As some of you might know, I’m a little obsessed with the ocean. 🌊
I just love everything about it: the color, the smell, the depth, its’ unpredictable power but, most of all, it’s weird and creepy deep sea creatures.

I went on a little trip to Portugal recently and it’s left me so inspired that I decided to dive into the topic and try my way around wallpaper art a little. So here comes three editions of the same deep sea.

Which one’s your favorite?
Should I add a giant squid? 🦑

“The magical tuktuk” - a children’s book I wrote and illustrated last year about the purpose of bad experiences in life and what they are supposed to remind us of. And of course, about a magical tuktuk that will always carry you home if need be.

I wrote the book as a Christmas present for my nephew after buying a little toy tuktuk in the streets of Chiangmai last October and found that sending a toy only was a little boring. Needless to say that the country I lived in for the past years has flavored my writings and drawings in this one 🇹🇭🙏🏼💛

Every year my mom makes this yum sugared quince candy around Christmas. 🍑

It’s full of vitamin C and a real treat. This year she sent it in a parcel all the way from Europe to Thailand where this fruit is totally unknown. I noticed that it’s not really known even among other European friends of mine either so I thought I’d give it a sketch to raise some awareness for this hard shelled vitamin bomb. Have a look around, maybe you’ll discover some old trees somewhere!
