25 more reasons to give God praise ⋆₊˚⊹ ♡

Sooo, I turned 25 on March 11th! Though this year has been nothing short of challenging, I give glory to God for keeping me and for wiping every tear that has fallen from my eyes.

I feel like every year I start to dread my birthday more and more 😭, but it’s the day the Lord gave me life and said “I have a purpose and a plan for Annette. I knew her before I formed her in her mother’s womb”. He tells me I am not a mistake—that I am destined for greatness!

I had nothing planned for my birthday this year, but the Lord reminded me that I’m seen and surprised me in so many ways (ughh, such a girl dad 🥹🎀).

He is my joy and my strength when I am weak. He reminds me that the pain I’m experiencing now is positioning me for something bigger—that joy is coming.

I was reading the book of Ecclesiastes recently, and it reminded me that there is a season for every activity under heaven—that there is a time for everything and a reason for every season. The Lord is intentional. I don’t know if you can relate to this, but know that even though the troubles of life may come, or you may get off track, the Lord can use it for your good—knowing that everything works out for the greater good of those who love Christ.

Thank God we don’t look like what we’ve been through!!!!! Know that the ugly parts of your story will become the greatest part of your testimony. The fact that you woke up today shows that God is not done with you. I pray you feel encouraged to keep going and will stick around a little longer to see what the Lord has in store for you.
