I finally BEAT CANCER!!🔥🔥
This journey started on September 3rd when I was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL). Cancer is something that no one plans to get, but when it falls in your lap the only choice you have is to fight. I thought cancer would ruin my life but in all honesty, it has opened so many new doors and has changed my life for the better.
This fight wasn’t an easy one by any means but my support system helped me every step of the way. I would like to say thank you to everyone that reached out, sent gifts, and for the countless prayers. Not a single thing has went unnoticed, and so many prayers were answered!
To my friends and family, thank you so much for all of your help. I couldn’t have gotten through this without any of you. I will forever be grateful! God is so good!🫶🏻

WHAT A YEAR !!
A year ago this weekend I was packing for a month long hospital stay after being diagnosed with Leukemia. This year I spent the weekend celebrating being cancer FREE and I couldn’t be more grateful!🧡🧡 by @annialdridge

Hi everyone I have GREAT news
I am officially CANCER FREE🤗🤗 I met with my oncologist today and found out my bone marrow results came back completely CLEAR! I am not sure how to put all my feelings into words, but I do know I am feeling extremely blessed. So many prayers were answered today and all I can say is TYJ🤍 BDE!!
Always remember that this too shall pass!

Hi friends and family! 🧡🧡

I wanted to first say thank you to everyone for the countless prayers, check ins, gifts, facetime calls along with so much more! Not a single thing has gone unnoticed!

For those not following my mom’s “Anni updates” (LOL), I wanted to share how things are going.

On September 3rd I was diagnosed with APL (Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia) and have been in-patient at Augusta Medical Center since. I’m responding well to treatment and my counts are stable! The headaches have eased up (TYJ 🙌), the bone pain is still here… but the medication and heating packs help keep it manageable!
I would be lying if I said this past month hasn’t been a challenge for me mentally and physically, but I know God’s plan is bigger than my set back!!

I am so thankful for all the love and sweet friendships I’ve shared since being here. I feel the love all the way from Jefferson to T-Town💛❤️
I am also extremely blessed to have such incredible team of Doctors and Nurses here! They’ve truly turned what I expected to be an awful experience into something special. From cracking jokes all the way to wiping tears, they do it all!

With all this being said I owe my joy and my positive mindset to my parents. This isn’t just my battle, it’s theirs as well and they haven’t left my side once! They are my ROCKS and I couldn’t do this without them! This journey of mine is just getting started and I’m ready to fight it head on!

There’s not much I can put into words about this program. I’ve had the privilege to grow up as a Lady Dragon since I was 5. These past years I’ve made so many memories from not just being apart of team but a family. From the coaching staff all the way to the fans, Lady Dragon Basketball has always been a light in my life. I will forever be grateful to each and every single one of my teammates. I love y’all more than y’all will ever know, and to my coaches- thank y’all for always believing in me and pushing me to be the best version of myself. Thank you Lady Dragons Basketball for everything, you will be missed.
