There is no excuse 3 years in for anyone let alone someone with a platform as large as @teddysphotos to not be educated as to what is and has been happening in Palestine for a century. He also needs to stop acting like any of us get to be squeamish about politics, especially as someone who has been so rewarded by the society he lives in. We all have an obligation to do better, to speak up and oppose genocide. And for an artist to say, “not my issue” is an affront to the humanity he speaks of. by @annie.pat

If you’re crying antisemitism while fomenting hate for Muslims it’s the same coin, just a different side. Imagine if all faiths gathered to acknowledge what they hold in common and celebrate their differences. Imagine ending supremacy and hate. by @annie.pat

Time to take these people off their pedestals.

Time to acknowledge a billion is made at the expense of millions of people, no one person is capable of earning that.

Time to prioritize the well being of all of society and Earth.

We outnumber the politicians. The majority of us want gun reform. The majority of us oppose the genocide and illegal war in Iran. We need to demand Citizens United be overturned, Pro-Israeli lobbies be registered as foreign agents. Until then our votes are meaningless and neither party will stop the killing. by @annie.pat

Granted it’s an ideal, but why don’t we even strive for it? I see countries that have mandatory military service, where children, are trained in espionage and combat, taught to hate the other while their brains and identities are still forming. I see no benefit, all I see is destruction and sacrifice. by @annie.pat

I haven’t posted much food or drink for quite awhile, because it just didn’t feel right what with multiple genocides occurring around the world and our government complicit in the genocide Israel is committing. I really pray that our leaders come to their senses and we are able to remove those who refuse to do so, because regardless of what party you belong to we have a moral and legal obligation to prevent genocide not call it as if it was a game. These are Heaven and Earth Potatoes, or Himmel und Erde with a slight variation; to the mashed potatoes & green apples I added white pepper & nutmeg then topped it with bacon & onions I caramelized in the same pan after and some grated Manchego Cheese. As my poppy would say, “you gotta try this,” and “everybody needs someone at some time to step up.” Step up. Speak up. Free Palestine, Free Lebanon, Free Congo, Free Sudan. Stop the bombs. Neither party is going to save us. Neither party represents us. They represent their Corporate Donors, the Obscenely Rich, and AIPAC. They both supported genocide and regime change. by @annie.pat

3 of my 4 girls almost 20 years ago . . . my heart bursts for them, so I think of mothers in Palestine, Lebanon and Iran. I know I’d do anything to protect my girls so I can only imagine how they feel. No more genocide. No more “war”. by @annie.pat
