[Backstage Stories]

The role of the artist is to observe, question and reflect on the strengths and weaknesses shaping our society.
👁️
In order for Art to hold space for healthy conversation, the creators must find the sweet spot between empathy and criticism for the systems that do and do not serve us. This is an essential part of the artistic process.

[Backstage Stories]
👁️
It’s not uncommon for Artists to experience personal inbalances.
For us as a collective, the inner work and the ‘know thyself’ are necessary practices for integrity, honesty and responsibility in creating connection within our audience.
It's in this connection that social change begins.

We’ve been quiet, but we’ve never been absent.
Art can’t exist disconnected from Life. It needs living, observing, feeling - and time.

As we return, we open the curtain on 'Backstage stories', a reminder that Pauses are part of the work, and that staying alive in these pauses is how we bring truth back to the stage.

"Theatre begins long before the lights go on, in the quiet work of shaping ourselves alongside each other."

Refusing to serve the army is a right of our men to refuse to join obligatory war practices for the state's capitalist and imperialist interests , thus opposing state violence.

Self defence or revolutionary violence against an oppressive system, is a different story.

In solidarity with Hasan and many more conscientious objectors from North to South and East to West

//The edge of Balance 2025//

🤡Sacred Clown

Who is it that sees it all?
The silent witness beyond the wall

It watches every rise and fall,
Each whispered lie, each fervent call,
The fire we hide, the scars we show,
The truths we fear, the selves we grow.

It cannot speak, it cannot steer,
But gently sends the signal near

Who sees it all? The one unknown,
The eye behind the self we own.
