Meet GLASSHOUSE 💗

My first novella. Twelve chapters. One very famous girl having a very public breakdown, one ex-Marine turned truck driver who has absolutely no idea who she is, and one extremely questionable decision to disappear.

It’s romance, escape, bad decisions, good chemistry, and yes, smut.

I’m nervous!!! But mostly very excited to finally share Evie and Zeke with you.

Chapter One: “Runaway Hours” is live now on A Given Moment. The entire novella will be FREE to read, with a new chapter dropping every week.

I am excited to announce the publication of my first short story, “Richard,” now live on Substack. Written a few years ago, this story intricately explores the multifaceted nature of relationships and the poignant emotions that arise when we revisit significant moments from our past. It delves into the connections that linger in our minds, seeking to encapsulate the complex interplay of longing and resolution..

In addition to the written narrative, “Richard” is available in audio format, offering a different medium through which to engage with the story. I hope it resonates with you and inspires reflection on your own relationships and life journeys. I am proud of the journey that led me to this moment and grateful for the support I’ve received along the way. Thank you for joining me on this adventure. by @annie

Sorry babe, we know it’s lab. 💍

Six carats used to mean you married money. Now I wonder if it came with a promo code.

But this isn’t really about diamonds. It’s about status, vanity, GLP-1s, and our collective obsession with looking effortlessly exceptional.

We’ve democratized the aesthetics of wealth without democratizing wealth itself.

My latest (slightly impolite) essay is live for paid subscribers on A Given Moment.

72 in Dallas surrounded by family, so much love, and all the people who make life feel extra special. Nothing better than watching two wonderful people get married and having an excuse to get everyone together.

My heart is very full. 🤍🥂 taken in Dallas, Texas by @annie

Being a 35-year-old teenager is so weird because what do you mean I have a fully developed frontal lobe, a child to raise, and the completely delusional belief that all my wildest dreams are coming true?

I’ve been the girl who ignored the warning because he’ll be different with me.

I’ve also been the ex-girlfriend trying to warn the next one.

She didn’t listen either.

Maybe women aren’t failing to warn each other. Maybe we just really want to believe we’re the exception.
