Snapped indoors by my hubby today. David didn't succeed, however, in luring me outside in my swimsuit despite the sun. For this gal from Atlanta US, about 38 C is my kind of outdoor temp. 😊 #seniorlifestyle #maturemodel #fitnessmodel #sportsmodel #whitehairmodel by @annieactivemodel75plus

The year was 2010.

I was on an Egypt Bike & Sail trip where we biked long stretches of desert as the first group to do this.
On that trip, I met two incredible friends who were already in their 60s (Ann) and 70s (Alpha).

They epitomized what it meant to live life fully and on your own terms, while aging gracefully. And being such badass adventurers too.

So much so that I profiled them in several publications, including Women’s Adventure magazine.

16 years later…

What an absolute privilege and joy it was to not only reunite with Ann @annievl07 in Stockholm at the @golden_age_models Gala, but to also be part of the same modeling agency 💛

One very unexpected so unrehearsed #seniormodel take in my own special #Atlanta #German language style for my @zoramodels 1st-ever model intro, here in #hamburg Germany. Vielen Dank. liebe Simone. Now I know I really need to practice speaking off the cuff auf Deutsch! My accidental senior model adventure begins! 😁😉🇩🇪👋🏻 #whitehairmodel #maturemodel #seniorlifestyle #overseventy #editorialmodel #seniorpictures by @annieactivemodel75plus
