A few weeks ago I quit my big-girl tech job.

I am absolutely thrilled and terrified at the same time.

It’s been a windy / zig zaggy path for me. My resume looks crazy. I have accomplished some really cool things and have gathered experiences and lore that drive people to wonder if I’m making this stuff up. 🥹🫠

Earlier this year I FINALLY finished my degree so I thought it was time to put on my big girl undies and get a corporate tech job… so I did… long story short… it didn’t last long.

I did kick ass and take names in a true Annie Fees fashion but it was not for me.

I’m not saying I’ll never go back into corporate, but as a hustler that has experienced what it’s like to successfully be “fun-employed” and work for yourself it’s very hard for me to trade that flexibility for a life in an office.

So what does the next chapter hold for me?

To be completely honest… I’m not sure. I’m currently doing some contract social media work📸. I’m studying for my Texas real estate exam to start working as a @rivolocators apartment locator here in Austin🤠🏡. I’m also taking another stab at building my personal social media presence 🥹🙈 because this journey is too cool not to share in my humble opinion 😊

I might be biting off more than I can chew here… but I know if anyone can figure out how to chew it it’s me🙋🏼‍♀️👸🏼

So here’s to dreaming big, getting out of your own way, and building a life you love living💃🥂😘

No one actually cares that much.

It feels dumb to admit that I used to think that everyone was watching and actually cared what I was doing. Turns out the world does not revolve around me and people don’t actually really care.

Even those who are cheering you on don’t really truly care that much. It’s not that deep.
