Happy birthday, my Jack! ❤️🎂

Today is such a special day because it’s the birthday of my lifetime protector! Every year, I feel sooo grateful that I get to call you my brother, and this picture truly describes the relationship we have with each other. Momma and Daddy sure blessed me when they gave me you as my sibling. ❤️

I love the way you love me sooo much, and when I think about you and our relationship, all I can do is smile and thank Jesus for your life and for placing me in the special role of being your little sis. Momma and Daddy blessed me tenfold when they gave me the honor of being your little sister. 🥹❤️

Jack Smith Hulgan, you don’t understand what an amazing gift and honor it is to be your little sis! The way you call me and never miss a beat in my life is something I will treasure forever. You have always been so much more than just my brother. You are my protector, my blessing, and one of the greatest gifts Jesus has ever given me.

I could write so many books about the love I have for you, but that would take way too long! 😂❤️ Just know that there will never be enough words to explain how thankful I am for you and the bond we share. I never want to take for granted the blessing of having you as my big brother.

In my eyes, you hang the moon, and I hope you know just how deeply you are loved. I thank Jesus for you today and every day, and I will forever be grateful that I get to be your little sis.

My name is Annabelle. I was born with spina bifida and my life has included medical appts, surgeries, challenges and experiences that have helped me shaped who I am today. But the diagnosis is not the whole definition of me. I am a daughter who loves her momma, her daddy and her jack, her Jessica with her entire heart. I am a girl who loves Jesus, worship music and her people, singing. My life has challenges, but it also has love, laughter and faith, purpose and he’s still writing my story! None of it’s CHANGING he’s changed me and made me a better human following Jesus and it’s never changing!🤠❤️✝️ by @anniekb23

Happy birthday Jordan ❤️

You make every day so bright and you know how to make me laugh until I can’t breathe and you know how to make me laugh so hard that I start screaming. From late night movies and conversations to eating our favorite pizza to eating fresh baked Costco cookies in our comfy clothes on your couch to dancing around to our jams. Everyone knows about my Jordan and we may not see each other every day but I know you will always be here when I need you and God blessed me sooo much when he placed you in my life when I needed you the most. and I will forever be grateful for the lord crossing your paths with Mine. God knew what he was doing when he placed you on this earth and I am forever grateful I get to walk life with you and learn from you about this crazy world I couldn’t ask for a better role model than I love you to the moon and back! Happy birthday it’s time to party 🎉 by @anniekb23

Milestones might come later in life for some people and that’s totally okay! ❤️ by @anniekb23

The yearly dreaded MRI check up for good VP shunt function and I came out with the words of your VP shunt is still functioning on the level it should those words are like music to my ears. The fear anxiety leading up to this appointment gets me every time because of the unknown of the results. Last night before I went to bed we prayed over the results and today we are THANKING JESUS he answered another prayer of ours. ❤️

Living in the goodness of Jesus and his faithfulness! Happy hydrocephalus awareness month to me! I am a warrior ❤️ by @anniekb23

This blog post holds a special place in my heart because it talks about my family being my caregivers you’ll hear me mention @jessicaoppenhuizen we may not have the same last name or the same parents but she’s one of them because of the DEEP care for me she has for me and my family and the deep connection we have that holds a special in my heart. She’s had to worry along side my parents and brother if I would be okay after every surgery, doc apt or test . The moral support she brings to my life is something I treasure every day by @anniekb23
