They know me! In a dressing room, waiting for an X-ray of my spine, so that’s good medical advice. by @anniesitton

This magical black bird broke into our screened, second-floor porch. I had just taken Scooter into the back garden for a potty break, when I heard birds making frantic noises. I attempted to calm them with my voice. At first I couldn’t localize (locate) the loudest of these birds. (Locating a noise above or below us is difficult, as we have only a limited area of the horizontal plane in which we are capable of finding the noise source.) Finally I saw the loudest bird…she was trapped on the screened, second floor porch. She had pecked a hole in the screen. That gave her entrance but not exit to our back studio apartment. With a blanket, manipulation of lighting, I guided her from the porch, down a hall then down the stairs and out the door to her waiting mate. Before her exit, I had given her a bowl of water from which she drank thirstily. by @anniesitton

Mother Nature is recreating our wedding day of forty-two years ago today. Happy anniversary, Tall Husband!
May 13, 1982: A storm was raging.
Loud banging on the ladies room door in my office building

Annie: (agitated) "I'll be out in a minute!"

Tall Husband: "Hurry! Don't you want to get married?"

Annie: "YES! Who is it?" by @anniesitton

Why is a woman, who is turning eighty-four this month, planting seeds? Well, I snapped out of that phase and purchased age-appropriate items for our bungalow garden today. by @anniesitton

The first flower, from seed, to bloom in my garden! Maggie helped to plant and water every seed and tuber. I think she actually gets it! She is so excited when we go out to water or fertilize. She goes out each morning to smell this Anemone. Dogs make everything magic. by @anniesitton
