Sunday October 18th - Join us at Annie’s for a special evening with Michael Godel as he launches his new book! Michael is a celebrated wine writer in Canada and an Ambassador for the Chianti Classico DOCG in Tuscany Italy. His book, The Next Rooster, dives into the next generation of Chianti Classico producers.
Annie’s will be hosting two seatings (6-730 and 8-930) for $75/ticket, which includes snacks, a glass of Chianti, and a signed book from Michael himself! We have something new as “Something Sweet” on the menu and it’s definitely one of those iykyk kind of things. But if you don’t know, you definitely want to! Coolish, frozen soft serve dessert. It’s a little go go squeeze in frozen dessert form and they are glorious! by @annieswinebar

Last night we celebrated the end of summer and our two amazing teams at Portage and Annie’s. It was a crazy summer and we couldn’t have done it without them. So to two of the best teams out there, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! We are nothing without you and this is just a small token of our appreciation. Hope you had fun doing the first ever PortAnnie’s scavenger hunt! We had a lot of fun making the list and seeing all the photos come in while you were doing it!

Also, big thanks to our friends and neighbours @terre_restaurant and @rabble_yyt for being a part of the hunt. One of our regulars for offering up to post up at bar and have a drink with our staff for a photo. And @themerchanttavernnl for spoiling us with dinner afterwards! by @annieswinebar

We’ve quietly been working on something with @forestrdchocolates and it’s finally here!

“Something Extra Sweet” on the menu. Available to enjoy at Annie’s or to take home with you.

A crispy potato chip base with a decadent layer of salted caramel, all encased in milk chocolate.

$18 for a box of 4 bars. A great little treat to share, but we totally get it if you don’t 😉 by @annieswinebar

It’s here!!! The sun is shining and it’s here!!! Lambrusco is officially on the menu!

Cantine Paltrinieri Santa’Agata
Lambrusco di Sobara is a sterile grape that only produces female flowers/fruit bodies. Alternating rows of Salamino are utilized so the fruit is able to reproduce. This Rosé is made with 100% Sobara which is quite unusual! It has notes of strawberry, cranberry, rose blossoms, and a nice punchy finish. It is perfect on a hot summer day. Try it with good company and hopefully a few Glizzies. 👀👀👀

First annual Glizzies and Fizzies weekend at Annie’s wine bar! All day Friday Aug 28 and Saturday Aug 29! We’ll have some fun hot dogs on the go and lots of different bubbles! Champagne! Prosecco! Lambrusco! Ciders! Sodas! We’ll also have some of the best looking hot dog t-shirts for sale, thanks to our pals @mightypops and @ufoscreenprinting!
