our ceremony ✨

I always knew I wanted to get married where I grew up going to school and mass (and where my parents and family all got married) ...but the thought of the basilica was overwhelming to me. But Serra Chapel on the other hand... perfect, small, intimate…and not to mention absolutely beautiful.

These mission grounds date all the way back to 1776 and I have countless memories here, being fortunate enough to go to school right next door. We were so beyond blessed to be able to get engaged here and then celebrate our wedding mass in the chapel! The mission will always hold a special place in our hearts 💕 taken in Mission San Juan Capistrano, CA by @annne.flynn

we said goodbye to our sweet girl pearl today 💕from the day we rescued her in california, to her cross country move to detroit and the four years we got to spend with her here, she brought us all nothing but love and joy. we were so lucky to have a companion like her. hope you’re having fun running around with dolly and rose again up in heaven, p! we know you’ll have an infinite number of shower caves to sleep in up there, but our shower will miss you 🥲 love and miss you forever pearly girl 🫶🫶 by @annne.flynn
