First art account post! 💫

(Drawing based on 2 Corinthians 1:21-22)

“And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” by @annointedcreation_

“Neither skill nor knowledge is needed to go to God, he added. All that is necessary is a heart dedicated entirely and solely to Him out of love for Him above all others.”

Pg. 22 of the Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence by @annointedcreation_

Here’s the prayer I based one of the drawings on.
How blessed we are to have a Heavenly Father and friend in Jesus. by @annointedcreation_

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭7‬:‭9‬

God keeps His promises and isn’t going to ever give up on you. Of all the relationships you can have, the one with Him is the most precious. by @annointedcreation_

—Prayer Journal Pages—

I haven’t really had the time to draw much with how busy life has been, but I’ve been turning a lot lately to creative expression in words. Not all of my prayers sound exactly beautiful, but the point is never to write out the fanciest prayers to God. Just the personal ones.

(The post-it in the corner was just there cause that’s a verse I try to memorize and write out whenever I can lol) by @annointedcreation_

“The foot of the cross is well-watered with tears, and the Lord brings flowers out of the soil.”

Daisies —purity
Daffodils —hope/new beginnings
Forget-me-nots —memories
Bluebells —gratitude/everlasting love

Jesus welcomes us to lay everything before Him. He can take every painful thing we have within ourselves. Every emotion, every worry, every doubt He can meet us in, and in time, He brings out new life.

I journal my thoughts sometimes to God in an effort to spill out what my mind feels too full of. Every now and then, He’ll bring an image to mind, and this was one of them. May He bring comfort to your souls as He often does for mine. by @annointedcreation_

“Life is like a labyrinth with choices and turns, and what we consume through life can be deceiving.
Berrics that grow along the way may
be poisonous, and it requires discernment. What we see, listen to, and feed our souls is quite similar. However, like most mazes, the goal is to get to the center. (to the Heavenly Fountain with God’s Living Water)”

Last coffee slip art ✨(oh to be a vessel for the Lord)

—I think of all the drawings this one probably would’ve looked cool with some gold detailing. Not sure how it would look on top of cardboard, but it’s a thought. Also I hope the Japanese above is correct apologies if not. by @annointedcreation_

Isaiah 40:31 🪽
“But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

(It’s a bummer the Creation of Adam hands smudged lol but it adds a bit of charm I guess 😂) by @annointedcreation_

Luke 15:6
“And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.”

—first time I tried drawing filigree (definitely not without references)
I forgot how old these were till I looked at the date I put on them by @annointedcreation_

A while ago I had the idea to draw on the little coffee cup slips at my church. I always carry a pen on me and little did I know how much joy I would have doodling on a little piece of cardboard that would’ve just ended up in the trash. 💫✨ by @annointedcreation_

Quick notebook doodle while out traveling and seeing God’s hand at work
