ONLY JACKET - THE INSPIRATION “One of the first styles I sew as a young girl, was a jacket cut from a checked wool blanket. Ever since, outerwear has held a special place in my design heart. One of my favourite jacket styles is named after a TV series character, Harrington. I’ve designed a modern version of this jacket, originally made by British clothing companies in the 1930s as workwear and sportswear for golfers. WINTERFELL SKIRT ”One of the advantages of sewing your own fashion is the opportunity it provides for you give the garments a touch that’s uniquely you. Inspired by kilt decorations, I came up with the idea of hanging a selection of symbols with personal significance from the waistband of the skirt: a piece of stone jewellery I inherited from my grandmother, yoga malas, my zodiac sign, and a used keychain from my own fashion brand Hope.
