Well…we survived!

Saturday was HARD. Those hills were no joke! We were crawling up them, but coming back down we hit 46 MPH! 😳

Eric was so encouraging the whole way, and getting to ride with Isaac was so much fun. He is STRONG!

Crossing that finish line felt SO good. I was tired, but really proud that I actually did it.

And we got to spend some time with Nora too, which made the weekend even better.

Our team raised almost $3,000 for MS, so that made all those hills worth it!

I’m not gonna lie. I’m pretty happy it’s over. But I’m glad we did it.

This training ride humbled me

The first picture was at the beginning when I was feeling pretty good about myself 😉

The second picture was halfway through on the side of a busy road wondering what I had gotten myself into

We went farther than I have ever gone and it was hard

But I finished🚴‍♀️

Eric is already talking about having a sag vehicle as a backup for the MS 150 so there’s that 😏 by @annrowell

I’m pretty sure a lot of people in Fort Worth don’t know this one.

Fort Worth had an underground subway.

The M&O Subway opened in 1963 and connected Leonard’s downtown store with its parking area. It ran underground for nearly 40 years before it closed in 2002.

And yes… I actually rode it. 😆

Training for the Tulsa MS 150 🚴‍♀️
