I’m not saying quit your job.
I’m saying start planting other seeds 🌱

One from your creativity.

Today I am extra grateful.

Grateful that my work is remote.
Grateful that I can step away when my baby needs me.
Grateful that I don’t have to choose between income and being present.

Surgery days put everything into perspective.

Success to me isn’t flashy.
It’s being right here when she needs me most.

Thank you God for building something that allows me to be both provider and mama.

Today was busy.
But the good kind of busy.

No clock in.
No schedule someone else made for me.

Just things to check off my list because God has been moving.

Answered travel messages.
Handled mom life.
Built what He placed on my heart.

And I’m winding the night down tired… but grateful.

If you’re at work scrolling right now… this is for you.

Teacher? Capped.
Nurse? Capped.
Customer service? Capped.
Employee? Capped.

There is a ceiling over your income.

And the only way you make more…
is by giving up more time.
More hours.
More energy.
More of your life.

You don’t get paid based on your potential.
You get paid based on permission.

Read that again.

I’m not saying quit your job.

I’m saying stop depending on one stream of income someone else controls.

Because most people aren’t stuck because they’re incapable.
They’re stuck because they’ve never been shown another path.

If this made you uncomfortable… good.

That’s awareness.

It amazes me how different people’s perception of “rich” really is.

Some think rich means money in the bank. Designer labels. Big houses. Flashy cars.

But the older I get, the more I realize rich has nothing to do with what you can show.

Rich is waking up without anxiety sitting on your chest. Rich is time with your child without checking the clock. Rich is peace in your home. Laughter in the middle of an ordinary day. Purpose in the work you do. Freedom to choose your schedule. And the ability to be present for the moments you’ll never get back.

I’ve learned that wealth isn’t always financial. Sometimes it looks like healing. Sometimes it looks like faith. Sometimes it looks like choosing a life that fits your values instead of chasing someone else’s version of success.

I may not have everything flashy… but I’m rich in the ways that matter most 🤍 by @anointedroadstravel
